NY just sent me a mail, seems like Hayate super parts release has been brought forward to 25 May from the initial 31st.

NY's updated release date for the 31J Super Parts is still wrong. Unless they plan on holding our orders for about a week before shipping.

The Tamashii Web Shop shows the release date for the Super Parts as 18 May. It will probably take a day or two at most for domestic shipping from TWE to NY.

the difference in date might be have to do with the additional time for the domestic shipping.

My first 31F has a paint scratch out of the box Good thing my second one from Amiami got here today.  Gonna try to touch it up with flat black paint. Its not too noticeable at a distance but still bummed me out. BTW i dont even bother putting the pilot figures in these because of that canopy

For some reasons, I appreciate the overall look of these two. Like they're the perfect match than Hayate and Mirage's color. I like how these two compliment each other. Color-wise. If only Messer have a little bit of red like Hayate's.  Too bad 31F's colored Super Parts doesn't look nice on 31J for mix matching.

Yea it pissed me off so much i got it and transformed and threw it back in the box  It wasnt until yesterday that I took it back out and put it on a Yeti stand and im warming up to it again.

Anyone have any tips on how i can touch up that area with an airbrush? I cant do the whole wing because of the tampo prints.

I remember seeing 31J super parts still available for PO at NY around April. It might be the same for 31F unless the 31F super is a better seller and NY allocations get sold out fast (which imo, never happened to 31J).

They didnt list the close date yet , they will normally post it on the item and their front page once they decided the date.  It will be posted atleast a week 2 before deadline.

oh yeah, thanks for the reminder, i need to get some super parts for messer.

haha, those 31F boxes have pretty thick cardboard, so i'll keep them bare =)

Yup. The battroid image on the flap cover is UV coated.

Edit: Opps. Sorry. Not just the battroid image. Even the fighter image too. So basically the whole image of the Valk is UV coated.

Just opened up my Messer 31F and noticed that the outer left wing on mine is a little saggy compared to the right wing when they are locked into place for fighter mode. I push it into place and it pops back out again a tiny bit, so it's not 100% flush with the inner part of the wing.

I've tried to shave away some of the plastic around the inside, but hasn't made a difference. Wonder if I should try just cutting off the pegs. Do they even serve a purpose?

I wouldn't cut off those pegs entirely, but check the sizes to see if the ones on the saggy wing are oversized maybe?

After my experiences trying to get assorted Bandai valks apart though, I'm tempted to say don't even try it.  There might be some smaller bits you can get into, but everything they make seems to be a multi-layered screw-and-glue sandwich.   You're more likely to damage the paint/tampo/plastic than you are to get anywhere with fixing the wing.

I guess if the asymmetry bugs you, and the gap isn't bad, you could try bulking up the tabs on the opposite wing so they sag evenly.

I have that exact same problem on the right wing of my Vf-31J.  I was never able to figure out how to correct it. I tried shaving bits of the peg off/etc, to no avail.  It just stays in Battroid mode where it's not noticeable now.  Pisses me off.

I also had the same issue on the right side. I kept folding/unfolding it thinking I must be doing something wrong but it is always a little off. I was planning to take a closer look at it this weekend to see if there is anything I can do about it.

Same issues on mine. But no biggies. I just have to ignore it. But still curious to see everyone's fixes.

I couldn't even tell what the issue was until I saw one of the pics close up. Will check if mine has the same issue but to me, it's a non-issue.

Damn, I wasn't aware this was an issue with the wings… ill check my open copies tonight. I didn't notice it on my open 31J or the 31F. I didn't really take the 31F out of the tray.
