Gundam@EFSF Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Macross 7【VF-22S Sturmvogel II Miria Custom】1/60 Yamato 1 more in my collection. Start watching Macross 7 for around 7 episodes, just so so at this moment... http://gundamatefsf.blogspot.hk/2015/10/macross-7vf-22s-sturmvogel-ii-miria.html Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Great pics, as always. FYI the cockpit chair rotates back so the pilot can sit upright in battroid. Quote
Mr Bomber Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Nice figure, although youll see it on the show on the last quarter, but still very nice piece (in fact i just bought one myself couple days ago from the forums) Quote
Gundam@EFSF Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 btw, yf 21 is similar mold and same engineering? Quote
treatment Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 You gotta get Max, too... and the stands as well.. Quote
Garfinkel Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 My max is in the mail. Now I am looking for a Miria to go with him. Yes, the YF-21 is very very similar to the 22. Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Great pics!!, shame Yamato could not find a way to add the cockpit shield. Quote
no3Ljm Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) btw, yf 21 is similar mold and same engineering? Great pics @EFSF! Waiting for yor MAX 22. And yes, they're the same except for the face and the side skirts. You just can't mount the gunpods on the 22 during fighter mode. You gotta get Max, too... and the stands as well.. I believe he already has Max. He posted on the Purchase thread. And he got it for a good price too. Regarding stands, he can get the YetiStands, and pose the two lovebirds together in one stand. He even cast them in color to match!http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=34282&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1 Edited October 4, 2015 by Old Man Quote

They seemed quite estranged throughout the series.. I was sure they would actually reunite by the end of it but those hopes were dashed.. oops is that a spoiler alert comment!? hehe! Quote
spanner Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 oh and by the way.. really nice photos Gundam! And they certainly do look lovely together don't they! Quote

spanner Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 You hv 2 0A!? Sorry are you talking about the 2x Zero-D visible below these VF-22's? I have 3x 0D and 2x 0A.. Quote

Methinks you should watch some episodes of M7 again. It wasn't as open and shut as you remember. Max and Miria were at their best when they were flying together. ;-) Quote

technoblue Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I would but its sooo painful to watch.. I might just take your word for it instead! hehe! Haha! Fair enough. For me, those scenes were one of the many nostalgia treats in the M7 series. Quote
Frogze Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 From Gundam's Miria battroid pics above I can see the cockpit isn't pushed down all the way which probably result in the nosecone not locking in place. There was a fix for this problem somewhere I think, basically you had to disassemble the nosecone to tighten2 screws which prevent the cockpit from sliding on the nosecone all the way (which results in the non-locking torso problems) Quote

Methinks you should watch some episodes of M7 again. It wasn't as open and shut as you remember. Max and Miria were at their best when they were flying together. ;-) That's the reason there, Spanner. And that's why it's always best to display them together. VF-1J's and VF-22's. It's not the Mac7 story but it's the impact of being together. Quote
spanner Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 indeed you guys are right! and I'll always have them displayed together anyways! Quote
treatment Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 M&M variants should always be together. Whether SDFM-TV, DYRL, or even M7... Quote
anubis20 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Technically they were no longer a couple in M7.. no need to have them together Quote
charger69 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Technically they were no longer a couple in M7.. no need to have them together That was a period... :D Quote
no3Ljm Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Technically they were no longer a couple in M7.. no need to have them together And yet, they always 'use' the same valkyrie units. Just sayin'. And producers were like... we still need to use the same Valk for this 'estranged' couple so we can still sell their valks in blue and red. Quote
