TangledThorns Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 That pilot is manning a giant cock... HR Giger and his phallic symbol lulz On a side note I just finished ALIEN: Isolation again. Third time playing and just as enjoyable as it was last year. Quote
sh9000 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 (edited) Preordered the set of 4 and an extra Dropship and APC. Edited November 23, 2015 by sh9000 Quote
TehPW Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I'm too lazy to look. what exactly did he change in the first movie to make it suck, as we saw it in the released movie? Quote

I still remember so vividly seeing that movie in the cinema and i was only about 9yo.. still remains my fav movie of all time! Heh, must be something about our generation as my parents let me see R-rated films before I was nine too. I was almost thirteen when I saw ALIENS. Damn I'm old, lol! Quote
spanner Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) I became so obsessed with the Aliens movie that of my nearly 40 years of life I have seen that movie hundreds of times! Im guessing somewhere around 500 or more times! And that is the honest to god truth! The situation escalated to serious once they released the directors cut edition with all the added deleted scenes and I went in to Aliens overdrive! I was able to recite that movie exactly word for word! Edited December 15, 2015 by spanner76 Quote
Dobber Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 image.jpeg Can't wait to see some of the original cast in person for the 30th anniversary in January. Trying to figure everyone out. From Left: Burke, unknown (kneeling), Vasquez, Drake, Ripley, Frost, Hicks, Newt, unknown (kneeling), Bishop, Hudson. Basically, the 2 kneeling guys I don't recognize. Is one of them Newts brother? Chris Quote
Mazinger Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Is one of them Newts brother? I think so. His only scene didn't make the theatrical release but is in the recent director's cut. Those two are actually real life brother and sister and they both were done with Hollywood after the release of the movie. Carrie Henn (Newt) is now a teacher. Quote

As I was re-watching Aliens recently, I couldn't help but think that Newt had truly escaped the grasp of the beast that has consumed so many other young souls. Good for them. Quote

Good for them. Child actors do get hurt but not all of them. Just read Ron Howard's interview in Playboy this month, amazing how far he has come from child acting. Quote
Duke Togo Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Alien: Covenant set photos. Looks like we still need a threat title name change. Quote
TangledThorns Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Oh jeez, the photos imply they hadn't detoured from the religious story line. Remember when ALIEN was scary? Pepperidge Farm remembers Quote
Mommar Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 What are those, Munchkin Aliens? And a spread-eagle face hugger... Quote
electric indigo Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Pretty disgusting. So thumbs up! Quote
renegadeleader1 Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I kind of wish I didn't look at this thread right before going to sleep last night. Anyways, looking at those munchkins all I can say is... Jim Henson presents: Xenobabies! Quote
Dynaman Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 2nd pic, third one from the right - looks like a bowel movement is about to happen... Quote
Hikuro Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I kind of wish I didn't look at this thread right before going to sleep last night. Anyways, looking at those munchkins all I can say is... Jim Henson presents: Xenobabies! HAH! You too?! All I can say now is that it motivated me today to work on my Colonial Marine armor. I like the photos, still seems like we're going with a protoxeno monster in these creature tests. The fossilized facehugger interests me as I think the design looks a little altered from it's 70's and 80's incarnations. Quote
electric indigo Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I hope they don't stray away too far from the Gigeresque design into the hybrids of Alien IV... Quote
TangledThorns Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Big question. Will it be scary or will it be another mess about religion? Quote
Hikuro Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Big question. Will it be scary or will it be another mess about religion? Kinda sounds like Ridley learned a lesson from screwing it up 4 years ago Quote
sketchley Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Erm... wasn't Prometheus about faith? Something related to, but distinct from religion. Quote
