HannouHeiki Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 I lost two "spikes" from a Hasegawa SDF-1. I have a spare kit, so I can keep building, but I'd like to have complete parts on for the spare. What are the best steps to getting replacement parts? Would I be better have trying to recast these tiny things? Quote
vincemoto7 Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Look at the assembly guide on the the first page, there should be a re-order form. I don't have this particular kit but most Hasegawa kits have this. Its usually in japanese so I don't exactly know what you can order, I know you can re-order decal sheets, but you need to have the exact form cut out from the guide, no copies. I think jefuemon has pointed this out in another thread I read somewhere. He's been pretty helpful. Quote
HannouHeiki Posted August 4, 2015 Author Posted August 4, 2015 I guess the question is, will they ship to the USA if return postage was provided. Quote
Model-Junkie Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Hasegawa's parts service is only open to residents in Japan, which is where Jefuemon comes in and provides the intermediary service Quote
ivorysniper Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 (edited) Hasegawa's parts service is only open to residents in Japan, which is where Jefuemon comes in and provides the intermediary service +1 !!!. cool8or Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 the problem is that the replacement parts can cost almost the same that the entire kit.... Quote
Jefuemon Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Right here! Sorry, I wasn't ignoring this thread, I was off gallivanting around Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka with my parents last week. No PC access. Quote
