seti88 Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I didnt hear any official word on the color but all pics so far has been black. Maybe its in the japanese text? Or could it really be that their white turned out to be too pinkish? Quote

I'm on the classic default theme so I didn't notice there was a text above the link. Sorry, old guy here. I just like the white background minimalist look. I added background color to see what it says. Quote
Gundam@EFSF Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 U remind me, i like white too Is 151 a good deal? Quote
Universe1010 Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Congratulations the armor is worth it. I like it except the back find protection. It looks out of shape Quote
dizman Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 The only problem I have with the reactive armor is that I like it too much to take it off the VF-0..... maybe I'll have to get another one. Quote
no3Ljm Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 That looks ok for a customed Low-Vis scheme. Wouldn't mind to buy an extra set if the plastic color is grey. Quote
anime52k8 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 I'd love to have an armor set, but first I need a not broken VF-0A to put it on. Quote

anubis20 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Woot! Gonna order a set from the Arcadia shop Quote

Mommar Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 If I had another 0A one of these kits might be cool to have. Quote
sh9000 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 It would be cool if the kit can be modified to fit the VF-0D but I don't need this so I'll pass. Arcadia getting very little of my money. Quote

Frankly, it's a terrible design and I don't understand how it works on the 0S. do you have any spare yeti nubs? whatever you do don't put any super glue in the metal housing of the ball joint. if it's done correct, the hip bar and the ball shouldn't be able to pop out of the joint enclosure even if the nub is not glued. test it before gluing on a nub, if the hip bar is popping out, the enclosure is the problem. Edited July 12, 2017 by davidwhangchoi Quote
anime52k8 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 The problem is I just can't get the metal housing to fully close and yet be tight, either it gaps and the stem pulls out or the hip just flops around all limp. Quote
jenius Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 I've fixed my 0A multiple times now too... I also wonder what they did to make the 0S work or why we've seen fewer failures on the 0D. I can get my 0A leg to stay on pretty well with the YetiStand nub but the hip is pretty loose. The original nub needs to be handled gingerly and eventually fails. Honestly, I don't understand this kit release at all. What is the market for this? Quote
kajnrig Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Hey everyone. I saw a Twitter post on Facebook about the Armor pack, and I was just wondering: Is this the Reactive Armor pack as a kit, or is it a VF-0A/S + Reactive Armor kit? Quote

Valkyrie addict Posted July 13, 2017 Author Posted July 13, 2017 Mmm... I'm getting this, but I need more VF-0's and I will not pay scalper price Quote
no3Ljm Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 (edited) And it's up now at Nippon-Yasan for Y13400 for July 31, 2017 release. https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/21670-1-60-vf-0-reactive-armour-kit-parts-limited-edition.html Edited July 13, 2017 by no3Ljm Quote

Photos from their site: They should've made all light grey like the shade of grey on the chest missile cover. It's an instant buy for me if it is because I really want one with that kind of grey. Quote
Xigfrid Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 I want to buy one, but I don't even know what to do with it ... or on which VF-0 it would be displayed. Quote
kajnrig Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Sheesh, that is one hell of a premium price... Is it even a kit at all? That seems more the price you'd pay for a regular add-on release. Quote
Major Focker Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 has Arcadia ever sold anything during their previous appearances at Wonfes? contemplating whether to PO at NY or pick up one at the Arcadia booth when i go to Wonfes this July Quote
Boobytrap Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Not really interested in this, which is too bad. I want to support Arcadia releasing kits, but without a VF-0 I can customize along with the RA I just don't see the need to get it. Hopefully enough other people purchase this to encourage Arcadia to release other kits. I will be pretty though if they release a VF-0 kit after this has sold out. Quote
chyll2 Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 The kit's value will probably appreciate with enough time. Web exclusive means supply will only meet the demand. With that price, I am sceptic that people are lining up for PO. Quote
jenius Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 I don't know that this will appreciate... I think it will go down for a while before it goes up. You can still find the regular version easily and it will probably be available for less than the kit soon. Quote
seti88 Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 (edited) Hard to say, but looking at the unpainted kit makes the painted version ever much desirable, esp with the red/green and gold trims at the back. That being said, on the kit, am half interested to see what markings/stickers if they are, included in this kit. Markings really do significantly improve the look of the RA. treatment Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 I think it should just come included with the 0A as standard accessory, at no additional cost. Should act as an apology/appeasement for the 0A's kinda crappy build-quality for an expensive figure... Quote

kajnrig Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 I mean... the prefinished release is only 5000 yen more, and you can find the long out of production Hasegawa kit still selling for significantly less than either of these, AND it comes with the VF-0S included. It's a bit smaller in scale, but only just. This is just bad pricing strategy, or at least in the eyes of this particular plebeian. Quote

I rather paint my regular one instead of paint the whole thing since I only want the blue parts on my regular one to be grey. And I get to keep the red/green clear parts and gold trims in the booster since they look superb. Quote
