Matt Random Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 For me, the Hikaru Strike is the most iconic VF-1S. My motivation for getting the Hikaru VF-1J was that it was the first of the DX line and included the cool flight stand. But after having just completed watching SDFM again for the first time in like 25 years, I feel that the Hikaru VF-1J is the most iconic of the TV designs. So, I guess having previously decided that my DX collection would be limited to the Hikaru VF-1J and VF-1S Strike was a premonition. Maybe I should play the lottery - or not. Quote
seti88 Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 If it was a PO, that would cost a bomb, not to mention shipping costs. But certainly the valk display to end all valk displays! Quote

jenius Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 1/48 Regult? Looking for a lawn ornament? Quote

borgified Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 And where in the world are you going to put that valk if and when you get it @seti88? Quote
seti88 Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 Oh with this valk, i do it the other way around. Just move all my belongings and live there instead. Quote

jeniusornome Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 @seti88 saw that too, is it just up there for display purposes or are they doing another reissue? (probably too much to hope for a renewal version). Quote
seti88 Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Are you referring to the 29? Bandai is labelling the 29 as a full set release.. Quote
enphily Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 YF-29 was on last year show with pack too Quote
TrickyCustomer Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Caught this on Instagram this morning. New dx yf-21?! Quote
TrickyCustomer Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 At last! It's got some interesting panel lines though. Quote
recon Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Bandai if you are reading this post. What i want for next year are: 1) VF-11B with fast packs and booster 2) DX 1/48 VF-1S Minmay Guard Quote
borgified Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 Hopefully that Bandai does a DX 1d as they have the done the J, S, and A versions. Quote
jvmacross Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 I think a VF-1D would be a fitting conclusion to the "1/48" DX line Quote

borgified Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 I know that Hayao's 1a was done in the Hi Metal format, is there a possibility that it can be done in HMR? Quote
jenius Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 We got Hikaru's so Max and Hayao seemed very likely at one point but things have cooled significantly since then. Quote
Lolicon Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 I want Focker's 1S next. And it better not be Skull-100 flown by his great great grandson. Quote
Sandman Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 So other than the YF-21 (does this have a release date yet?) is there any other macross dx or hi-metals coming out? I haven't seen it this slow for releases ever. Quote
Sanity is Optional Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Just the usual test articles that have been shown, but with no statements that they even will be released. DX 1/48 VF-1A Kakizaki HMR Max/Milia VF-4 HMR Scout Regult (possibly as a pack with a VF-1S Roy) Repop of the Alto YF-29 as a pack with the supers Some other HMRs going back a ways, including the Tomahawk Probably missed a few. Who wants to tease a product right now when they have no idea when factories will open again and the kind of backlogs they will have? On the bright side, you can use your toy funds to buy Purell, masks, and toilet paper. I really have no idea what the run on toilet paper is all about. Start thinking of all the 2020 teases as 2021 teases and there will likely be lots of cancelled products as companies try to catch up. Quote

It's not the TP itself, it's the side of multiple boxes of facial tissue, bottles of sanitizer, and medical masks. You think that wearing a mask protects you from the virus? Baloney. Frigging jumping the gun here folks. Proper hand washing is a must and limit your exposure to the foriegn elements. I'm sure that the movie "Contagion" might have a played a role in this too. Quote
