auberondreaming Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Hi all, I have had my VF-1S Super Valkyrie set for about 4 years now (time flies!), and today I was looking through the box and discovered that it did not come with stickers for the strike armor. Was this true of all the gift sets or did I wind up with a bum one? Also, anyone have an image file for the strike stickers? I would like to get the kite on the boosters at least. Quote
no3Ljm Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) Don't get me wrong. I'm not a police, a moderator or anything, but if it's just a simple questions like this, it would be best to post it in the 'TOYS FAQ - The New Noobie questions thread' instead of creating a new one. Besides the TOYS FAQ thread is already pinned at the top for HELP and QUESTIONS. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=33093 And besides, you didn't mention which specific set you're referring to and who made it so members can help you with a specific answer. Thanks. Edited June 11, 2015 by no3ljm Quote
auberondreaming Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) Hmm ok. Not sure this is a noobie question but fine. Also yamato 1/60 super valkyrie. Perhaps a mod can go ahead and delete this topic. Edited June 11, 2015 by auberondreaming Quote
no3Ljm Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Hey no worries man. The title of that FAQ thread too somehow should be just like FAQ or something without the 'noobie' word. But since most noobies also post their own thread without looking or reading on the first pinned thread. So that's ok, I guess. As for your sticker question, you could try this water slide decal I've found over eBay if you want. It's designed for Yamato 1/60 scaled Valks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/new-Water-Decal-for-YAMATO-1-60-Macross-Valkyrie-VF-1-action-figure-FREE-SHIP-/261858903569?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cf801c611 Quote
mickyg Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 They are indeed - I've used them. Only thing to worry about is that they're not terribly bright. The reds especially. I used the skull insignia on my DYRL VF-1A Super Packs and was a bit disappointed at how muted they looked. If you paint the circle where the insignia goes in a white or light grey, they'd look a lot better. Unless, of course muted is what you're going for. Quote
