"Dentsu Entertainment USA has partnered with Man of Action Entertainment to develop a 26-episode animated series based on Capcom’s iconic video game franchise Mega Man™ for the global market, it was announced today by Yuichi Kinoshita, President and Chief Executive Officer, Dentsu Entertainment USA, Inc. Under terms of the deal, Dentsu Entertainment holds worldwide broadcast and licensing rights for all aspects of the new Mega Man TV series."

Is it weird that my first thought when I heard about this was "I thought Capcom didn't care about Mega Man anymore?"

Basing it on X instead of the original would be a big improvement IMHO, if for no other reason than the visual designs.

Plus you know, then you can have Zero. :)

Or base it on Mega Man Zero. IntiCreates killed Zero off so they wouldn't have to make another one (yet went on to make Mega Man ZX, go figure), but I feel like there's a ton of story material between Zero 3 and Zero 4... or even between Zero 2 and Zero 3.
