No, that was resolved long ago, though they're still not metal so they can be broken.

Super stoked for the VF-0A reissue.  Missed the first round and got an old Yamato to tide me over.  This will be a tremendous upgrade.  Ordered 2.

Did they announce they were reissuing premium finished versions too? Just curious if I'll be able to snag a premium finished SDF-1 one day.

I kind of hate to say it, but when the HMR has more tampo'd and painted detail than the 1/60 version, that feels embarrassing.

They haven't.

But I'm hoping they will eventually.

The VF-0 is not really one of my favorite designs to by honest and it's a bit of a shelf hog at 1/60 scale, so it's not a priority for me.

If it's non-PF, I would be depressed by it...especially since I now have the Yamato one. 🥰

But the TV version would be the best outcome if they could be convinced to do it instead of reissues..

in a previous page there were pics of an upcoming non-PF reissue from a few months back. I don't have any version of the 1/3000 SDF-1 so I am wondering if anyone has heard any news on it, as I'd like to get one without having to pay secondary market markup

Arcadia looks like they're not considering PF at the moment, likely due to exchange rate issues driving up costs. I suspect that's also why they have slowed way down. The yen just isn't with what it used to be and that's tough on a Japanese based toy company.

How about the Super Ostrich? Does Arcadia have any plans to re-issue that? They've done the Elintseeker after all. I need a 1/60 Super Ostrich in my DYRL collection. The secondary market prices for the Yamato  version is just too much for me...

They never even teased one. It doesn't mean all hope is lost but with the DX just having been released, it seems unlikely.

Agreed.  This is a long time coming, especially after multiple releases of the Elintseeker (PF and normal).  But, the VF-5000 is what I'm looking forward to most of all.  I really hope that project doesn't become vaporware.  In the end and above all, I want Arcadia to survive as a company in a challenging economy.

I could be wrong but I was pretty sure they did so in a tweet prior to the pandemic. You could *just* make out the leg and armors of one. That was about it though. I don’t think that was a VF-1D. I’ll have to go back pretty deep in this thread but it was here in the forums that I saw it. 
 

edit: I couldn’t find the actual Arcadia tweet but I do remember being excited about this one.

As much as I wanted a PF VT-1 back then, I think the Bandai kind of blew that desire out of the water.

I'd still prefer it to the DX in some ways, but the reality is that it would probably wind up more expensive at this point, for less included features.  The only way I think it would make sense to release it at all was if they included a stand, the same extra figures, an actual molded plastic tent, and gave it a full weathering treatment. 

Heck, if they're going to be blowing the budget on it anyway, just give us a terrain base for the campsite, and then I'd probably bite, since it would be a more manageable display in 1/60 than with the DX.
