Yes, it's mostly a given that the models are better proportioned. You did a great job on those and nailed the colors Quote
Uxi Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 Just needs larger tails and non magnetic leg FAST Packs. And a VF-11C as well. Quote

Froy Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 They have been pushing the Strike Hikaru and Roy VF-1 for almost a year. If it happens to get delayed too I might grab one if the 0S is not announced first. Quote
MKT Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Well, the Hikaru & Roy 1S Strike have been delayed yet again, to April 2025 now. Quote
davidwhangchoi Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 company waiting for the tariffs and the transition to take place i can't blame them. hope the prices don't rise too astronomically for China imports. Quote
rsvictor1976 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 (edited) Do these Arcadia VF-1 reissues have the same problems with the shoulder hinges breaking? Edited December 18, 2024 by rsvictor1976 Quote

Jasonc Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 The VF-0A is good news as I do like this design. My only question is.... WHERE IS THE DAMN GHOST FOR THIS!?!?!? Quote
rematron Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Super stoked for the VF-0A reissue. Missed the first round and got an old Yamato to tide me over. This will be a tremendous upgrade. Ordered 2. Quote
Graham Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I think I'll wait for a PF version. Happy enough with the HMR VF-0A for the moment. Quote

Did they announce they were reissuing premium finished versions too? Just curious if I'll be able to snag a premium finished SDF-1 one day. Quote
Chronocidal Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I kind of hate to say it, but when the HMR has more tampo'd and painted detail than the 1/60 version, that feels embarrassing. Quote

The VF-0 is not really one of my favorite designs to by honest and it's a bit of a shelf hog at 1/60 scale, so it's not a priority for me. Quote
pengbuzz Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I'd really like to see them do a TV version Macross; that said, I doubt they ever will. Quote

If it's non-PF, I would be depressed by it...especially since I now have the Yamato one. 🥰 But the TV version would be the best outcome if they could be convinced to do it instead of reissues.. Quote

I don't have any version of the 1/3000 SDF-1 so I am wondering if anyone has heard any news on it, as I'd like to get one without having to pay secondary market markup Quote
jenius Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Arcadia looks like they're not considering PF at the moment, likely due to exchange rate issues driving up costs. I suspect that's also why they have slowed way down. The yen just isn't with what it used to be and that's tough on a Japanese based toy company. Quote
brouken Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago How about the Super Ostrich? Does Arcadia have any plans to re-issue that? They've done the Elintseeker after all. I need a 1/60 Super Ostrich in my DYRL collection. The secondary market prices for the Yamato version is just too much for me... Quote
jenius Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They never even teased one. It doesn't mean all hope is lost but with the DX just having been released, it seems unlikely. Quote

This is a long time coming, especially after multiple releases of the Elintseeker (PF and normal). But, the VF-5000 is what I'm looking forward to most of all. I really hope that project doesn't become vaporware. In the end and above all, I want Arcadia to survive as a company in a challenging economy. Quote

You could *just* make out the leg and armors of one. That was about it though. I don’t think that was a VF-1D. I’ll have to go back pretty deep in this thread but it was here in the forums that I saw it. edit: I couldn’t find the actual Arcadia tweet but I do remember being excited about this one. jenius Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I remember that pic... I hoped it was a tease, but i think it might have just been coincidentally there and that was a long time ago now. Quote
Chronocidal Posted 39 minutes ago Posted 39 minutes ago As much as I wanted a PF VT-1 back then, I think the Bandai kind of blew that desire out of the water. I'd still prefer it to the DX in some ways, but the reality is that it would probably wind up more expensive at this point, for less included features. The only way I think it would make sense to release it at all was if they included a stand, the same extra figures, an actual molded plastic tent, and gave it a full weathering treatment. Heck, if they're going to be blowing the budget on it anyway, just give us a terrain base for the campsite, and then I'd probably bite, since it would be a more manageable display in 1/60 than with the DX.
