I already recast the leg bar connector in resin and works for display however is too fragile to handle several transformations

You could try mixing some glass fibers into the resin when you mould it, ought to give it a bit more tensile strength.

Standard technique when using epoxy to form things, you use fill to change the material properties, ought to work with resin as well?

No idea of the cost, but you could look up metal 3d printing. 

Would definitely solve that problem in the long run

I already purchase the MP-01 Long Smoke Stacks of Shapeways and although really contains metal is like compressed dust and not convinced me

Hmmm, I've seen some tutorials on how to cast parts in metal. 

But, if youu are kind of handy with tools you could maybe make one out of a piece of metal. I like working with tough materials, so if You could send me a copy of your part I could probably replicate it.
