If Arcadia re-issued your valk: What improvements would you recommend

So if Arcadia were to re-issue a particular valk and were looking for fan feedback, what improvements would recommend?

Should this valk ever get re-issued by Arcadia, here are a few issues I'll mention that need improving....

-Rear landing gear need to lock.

-Landing gear bay doors need to stay open rather than flap around. There also needs to be slot for your fingernail to open them!

-Exhaust trim tabs are way too lose.

-Fold down wings should be snugged up. Feels like these are way too lose.

-Legs need to provide a bit better support.

These are good points. I would add that they should either revise or remove delimiter mode. My Gamlin's legs come off when rotating out of fighter mode. I never display it in delimiter (does anyone?). It is neat they have it, but like the 19's highspeed mode I think the compromise isn't worth it. I think the look of 21/22 fighter mode is as near perfect as it can get and still be transformable. I would be ok with a fatter belly if it meant better legs, and possibly gunpod storage.

More tampo would be welcome. It'd be great to see arcadia push more tampo on their $300ish figures.

It would be nice to see some things fixed up on several Valks, but then we'd get another whole bunch of 'evolution' toys with the additional costs of re-engineering applied to them resulting in much higher msrp.. maybe the odd Valk with a few things fixed for example the 21/22 as mentioned by w8kbrder. I'd happily see the delimiter mode binned in favor of better overall sculpt & functionality. But would I be keen on forking out the cash replacing my 3x 22 & Guld 21..? im not so sure. I'd be more willing to have re-engineered SV-51 toys or even something else we don't have yet released! VF3000/5000, VF9, VF14 etc etc.

I would have been happy to just see more re-issues and re-paints of existing Valks to be honest. Although a certain very pricey few I now already have so that defeats the purpose for me. I'd still like another VF-4 though!

I don't know about that. Maybe for you it is different because you sticker all your Valkyries but for me I have all my Yamato/Arcadia releases and the look uniform with the minimal tampo-printing. So having a VF-0D with minimal deco out of the box vs a VF-0S would look odd to me. I agree that Arcadia should at least put all the markings shown in the anime onto their toys. The VF-17 is the worst offender imho.

It will be interesting to see the 19 advance next to my Arcadia. The bandai one is gonna have about 3 valks worth of tampo on it.

Remember guys the key to getting your 21 to stand in battroid is rough surfaces with locked ankles. It's still the most amazing mass shifting illusion valk I have and only one where it stumped my non macross friends how it actually transforms. With other valks they can visually identify the legs in fighter modes and go from there for example. Don't even get me started on frontier backpack wings.

I would purchase a revamped 51. Proportions and such are great. It just needs a second pass and tightening up design-wise.

Stands are always a welcome addition but at least give them some degree of adjustment for Valk display and posing.. both the standard issue Yamato and Bandai stands are total junk and I'd rather pay a bit less and not have them included.

hmmm i dunno about lights and such.. would then need batteries and it could get messy.. maybe on a much larger scale figure but not the 1/60. Glow in the dark paint on the other hand is an idea! Lancelot painted a few glow paint details on the custom Valks he did for me and they work great!

Sv-51 legs.

1) The walls on the legs are too thin/brittle.

2) Someone need to redesign the gerwalk leg joints/pin suports, as they disintegrated pretty easily on mine.

3) Make the legs shorter/slide-in, like the new 19.

2. Re-design the way the arm swings out from fighter to GERWALK.

3. Lower the pointy bit on the hip intake to avoid hitting the back of the chest piece.
