GobotFool Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Okay, we all have seen a movie that we know is bad, but for some inexplicable reason we love it. Mine has to be 'Blackhole'. Quote
eriku Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 I don't know if it qualifies as 'sci-fi', but Caveman with Ringo Starr is an absolute crap-fest that for some reason I can watch over and over again. Quote
GreenGuy42 Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Plan 9 From Outer Space... classic s**t, served rotten.... ...but oh so much fun... Quote

Isamu Atreides 86 Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Krull.....its so cheesy, yet i can't stop watching it......almost mesmerizing. Quote
bsu legato Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Predator 2. It's not a great sequel, but I feel it's certainly a cut above the average paint-by-numbers sequels we're inundated with today. But it does have some nice looking action sequences along with some excellent pre-CGI effects and Stan Winston's awesome creature. Quote
zeus the zentran Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 I'd say Ice Pirates is mine.Personally people took it too seriously and I think that's why it flopped. Quote
Skippy438 Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Killer Klowns From Outer Space....Come on, it's scifi... they're from space.... DUDE! You stole my answer! Either Killer Klowns or the 80's remake of Invaders from Mars. Quote
Noriko Takaya Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Christ! There are so many bad movies in which I love! Here are a few: Disney's The Black Hole Soldier Battle Beyond The Stars Krull Lifeforce Yeah, some people already mentioned a few of these, but I love them also! Quote
Veifwan Es Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Starship Troopers and Alien Ressurection for sure. I love both movies while everyone else around me says they suck Quote

I am not the only person on this planet that likes blackhole Quote
Anubis Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 I liked Krull, Predator 2, and Starship Troopers, actually. I didn't think Krull was that cheesy at all really. Just a fantasy movie. While some aspects of Predator 2 were hokey, the urban jungle idea itself was not a bad one. Starship Troopers, just a fun movie, two hours of run and gun, some humor, and Diz was hot. I don't think it was meant to be taken seriously, unlike the book. (The book I found to be quite slow, but liked the inclusion of the support equipment) Let's not forget the classics of classics: Spaceballs. I love it. Quote
Dat Pinche Haro! Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 uhhh....i still like the first power rangers movie does that count? Quote

areaseven Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Any Japanese tokusatsu or kaiju flick, especially the old-school Godzilla movies. Mad Max and Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome is a travesty). The Last Starfighter, of course (look up the review thread). The Rocketeer (undoubtedly Disney's best live-action film next to TRON). Quote
fulcy Posted December 31, 2003 Posted December 31, 2003 Two words: Deep Rising Treat Williams actually doesn't need to show his ass in this one for it to be good! Quote
