No confirmation from the Hasegawa site yet.

Is that both of them in one box, I wonder? 3600 yen for a 1/72 scale kit seems a bit steep otherwise. But half that seems way too cheap...

The Max and Millia Fighter mode set was 2 in a box though, wasn't it? What about the 1/48 scale kit? Nope, looks like the 1/48 set is just one Valk but both sets of markings.

No way, it's just a little more expensive than other 1/72 kits, so it will be only one kit in the box.

Obviously Gerwalk is selling well for Hasegawa. I hope they decide to do a VF-1D version.

Indeed, that would be the only thing that could possibly get me interested in one.

I'm surprised there is a lot of interest, but maybe they are taking advantage of the unfavorable response to Bandai's kit.

A -1D would be sweet. They could probably even squeeze a VT-1 & an ELINT out without too much trouble.

Still hoping for one in 1/48.

Hasegawa is really doing their best to make me not want to build my Bandai VF-1 Strike (which I was going to leave in Gerwalk).

And that's a good thing!

And VF-1J Super Gerwalk (Hikaru Hichijo) will be a different kit?

Yes. This newly announced kit is DYRL versions. For a TV Hikaru Super J, you'll just need to paint instead of decal the red, and steal the pilot decals from another kit.

Hmmm, if I'm reading the release correctly, this new kit will not have a pilot figure included.

Boxart!! And this one is a limited kit, so if you're not buying now, don't plan on buying later.

My 'Max/Miria' kit turned up yesterday. Very nicely done.

Now I just have to find an easy way of converting the DYRL? -1S into a SDFM -1S (super, not strike) and getting the right SDFM pilot figure.

In the box art, where are all the missiles coming from?

Movie use of pilot parts are not included. It becomes [VF-1 Valkyrie Weapon Set (pilot two-body input)] to use the receive shape sold separately.

※ as a bonus element, TV version [VF-1S Super Valkyrie] also can be selected. And Joint Force mark decal for super parts, comes with the TV version pilot parts.

According to the above, I don't think it comes with two pilots. Just a TV version pilot.

It's a machine translation so I could be completely wrong.

Nevermind about DYRL? Pilot, we can get it with the missiles kit. But I'm very happy that the Gerwalk kit include a TV pilot!
