TehPW Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Although i knew he had been in relatively poor health as of late, his passing was unexpected (and for his many, many fans, truely unwanted). *salutes* Our world is most certainly for the worse, with his passing. Heaven, on the other hand, is likely having a Kareoki Night for Mr Nimoy's arrival...
Major Tom Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 He's probably the most well known Sci-Fi actor in the world. We lost the most beloved character of Mr. Spock. Rest in peace sir, and enjoy your next frontier.
myk Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I can't believe he's gone. I grew up watching his television exploits and always considered he and his work to be part of the architecture of my life. I hate getting older. Some people say aging, life is a voyage of undiscovered country and self-realization, but the only thing I've noticed is the constant of death. RIP Mr. Nimoy...
big F Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Found out on my way home from work. A sad day for sci fi. A true icon not just for Star Trek but for Hollywood in general. They need to make a bronze statue at Paramount Studios. That makes only four TOS main cast left now
hutch Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I watched an episode of "In Search Of..." last night in his honor. Such a great career. He will be missed.
taksraven Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 A great actor and a true SF icon. He will be missed......
miles316 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I watched an episode of "In Search Of..." last night in his honor. Such a great career. He will be missed. Where did you find it?
renegadeleader1 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I've been dragged down too much lately when it comes to death and mourning. First my ex boss, then a former employee, and now Leonard Nemoy. I'm tired of it so with Mr. Spock I'm going to celebrate his life and the joy he brought us all by highlighting moments like this: Rest in peace Mr Spock.
derex3592 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Godspeed sir. Thank you for the memories. live long and prosper.
JB0 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 That picture makes me so very sad. So I shall celebrate life with Nimoy driving cars. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPkByAkAdZs
areaseven Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Not only was he a better director, he was a better singer than Shatner.
areaseven Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 His Last Tweet"A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP"
hutch Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Where did you find it? They have full seasons on Youtube.
xrentonx Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I'm no Trek fan but this is some sad news. For me and many others, when we think of Trek, we think of Spock.
Golden Arms Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 RIP Mr Nimoy. You brought so much joy into many Scifi fans the world over.
derex3592 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 His Last Tweet "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP" This is perfect.
