I think VF-0A is hybrid since it is painted mostly and just has fewer decals than the usual premium.

I mean...  Hi metal did it. most likely Bandai will steal your design, make a DX chogokin w/ a ghost booster set along side it.

Most likely the regular version, as it does not explicitly state "Premium Finish" in the Arcadia page.

Besides, there was never a PF of the 0A.

Only the 0S and the 0D were PF'ed.

Also, seems the previous Reactive Armor will not be compatible with this 0A-reissue this time due to the "improved leg design" whatever in the above Arcadia page....

Oh well. Here is to hoping they will release  PF version of VF-0A with ghost in the near future. Cos it will be weird if i get this when i have a PF VF-0S already unless i want an interim filler

Agreed- I'll hold out for a possible PF with ghost as well- that'd look lovely with my PF VF-0S & VF-0D.

VF-0A PF is the only PF Arcadia hasn't made for the VF-0 mold, I do hope they will announce one soon after this. On other hand, I can imagine this normal version being a welcome re-issue since the first issue 0A was always quite a gamble due to the hips. Though, I'm curious what redesign they are making for this area, and if there are other stealth changes. 

On side note, I think this is the first Arcadia re-issue since start of pandemic that incurs a price increase.

It’s interesting that the Reactive Armor won’t fit when the 0S was already an improved version so this means they made additional changes on this one. So it’s kind of like VF-0 Ver 2.2 at this point and maybe the others will get similar treatment?

Also, the description does not mention decals so maybe this is a PF but they decided to take some input and not make separate versions?
 

The other thing that I don’t care about but I know people do is even though the other two were released with PF versions, they were different levels of PF where the 0S just had all the markings tampoed and the 0D had that plus weathered painting. So no matter what, you won’t have matching looks from all three. If this 0A is PF, looks like it will be the same PF as the 0S though.

Aw crap, I missed that part. So that probably answers any thought of this being PF unless it is some optional decal but I don’t remember that ever being a thing included with previous PFs.

After seeing just how many markings were completely left off of the non-PF version (which were all printed on the HMR version, I might add), I can't really say I care about this release.  They've cut the effort on this version down so much compared with the original Yamato releases, it's really hard to justify paying more for what looks like a downgrade.

Even if they do release a PF version, I still hate them replacing the clear wing lenses with those stupid black patches.  That just screams "cheap" to me.

Their prices for most imported Macross items are just sky high for no discernable reason.  I keep wondering if they're using an out-of-date exchange rate calculator.

Arcadia still hasn't made any steps towards proper international distribution since WWM started. It could be due to license restrictions, but it could also be very well by their own choice. The Garlands they made also seem to be focused on JP-only and not much different from the way they handled Macross.
