Reïvaj Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I coulda sworn someone mentioned it earlier on the VF-0D thread... I remember that too, but I guess it wasn't such a big deal by that time. You know, post pictures or it didn't happen. Quote
McFly!! Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Hmm that just makes me wonder if there are any out there without the error Quote
Mommar Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 It's not all of us, both of mine happen to be lined up correct. I wouldn't have even checked if it hadn't been pointed out. Quote

Thanks for the info, mommar! I already have a few valk equivalents of schroedinger's cat in the cf vf-171s, now this... Lol Quote
Guest davidwhangchoi Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 looks like he's looking at the color of the shin 0A today. hopefully a pic will be posted soon: https://twitter.com/Mrk_arcadia/status/591038809829023745 Quote

Will just wait and hope for a corrected-color -0D, or maybe even a -0C. Does make me wonder about the Japanese fan base's priorities/criticisms---they're concerned about the intake markings on some being slightly mis-aligned (when you can't even see both sides of the jet at once to directly compare), but apparently remarked several times at the unveiling how the 0D's color was "just like the anime" when it's probably the least-accurately-colored 1/60 ever? Gakken85 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I really wish you guys would take the bitching to twitter. 1. It keeps Mr. K engaged. He's sharing this info so keeping the twitter data going back and forth is important. 2. Nobody here can change anything - other than bitch some more. Quote
no3Ljm Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 If only I could speak fluent Japanese... I can read small amount but composing a sentence, can't do it anymore. Quote

Ignacio Ocamica Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I'll start, it looks too washed out in that pic. I'd prefer it was darker grey. Quote
technoblue Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) Edit: I agree with Ignacio... It may be that the nose is out of focus, but there is that space between the cockpit and the airbrake that appears to have a darker shade of grey than the body of the fighter. Is that section unpainted? I would havce expected the 0A to be closer to that darker grey. As it is, if it wasn't for the stripes, I would have thought this was a 0S because of the lighter grey. charger69 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) Color of the VF-0A here's a bigger shot: Think this way: They always give us a darker shade on actual product comparing to pre-sales photos... which makes this shade of grey perfect Edited April 24, 2015 by charger69 Quote
Xigfrid Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Color of the VF-0A here's a bigger shot: I am quite excited by this lighter than the anime color for the 0A, it means that the 0S will match together better than the older Yamato version Quote

Froy Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I don't use to complain about colors, but that is just too light. I almost can see Arcadia releasing the 0S completely white like the DYRL VF1-S. Quote

wmkjr Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) I guess they are still tweaking the colors. It's got the 0D's legs in the pic. edit: It's half new half 0D from a couple posts above. Edited April 24, 2015 by wmkjr Quote
no3Ljm Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I'm just going to stay quiet for now regarding the first color. Don't want to feel 'dejavu' again. (Hello, VF-0D.) Quote
Gakken85 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I'd buy it even if it was Brutish dog pink Quote
no3Ljm Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I'd buy it even if it was Brutish dog pink That's for VF-19A Aisha Custom, Gakken. Quote
spanner Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 The lighter color does look pretty good! So was the original release Zero-A the wrong color? Quote
Kyp Durron Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Jesus Christ, I'm seriously beginning to think those guys are freaking color blind. >.< Quote
505thAirborne Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I let things slide big time with the VF-0D because I figured much like the VF-4, probably won't see a reissue any time soon. But that light grey is really muted. I thought the shade used on the Yamato Zeros was far better. (Fingers crossed this is a test shot only) Quote
ErikElvis Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I'm not a stickler for colors. If it doesn't match the anime just pretend it's a variant. If it looks cool it looks cool. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 But weren't the -0's on the Asuka like the entire production run? Very few built, with Roy's S-model the only S ever built, IIRC. So there wouldn't be any variants for them to be. Quote
xrentonx Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 He's saying he gonna use his imagination and pretend it's a non-canon scheme. Doesn't matter to him what's shown in the show. Lots of us do that. Quote
Gakken85 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I'm not a stickler for colors. If it doesn't match the anime just pretend it's a variant. If it looks cool it looks cool. Same. As long as its close I'm happy it's being made. I understand the do it right line of thought, I do - but again if you want your voice to be hear it won't be here. haha Quote
Kyp Durron Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I posted and said that it was too light and that I hoped it would be fixed before production. Quote
Marcion Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Arcadia did right on the of the colour VF0D when I notice from different way of view and the lighting it just show two type of colour just like the two prototype picture Quote
