Guest davidwhangchoi Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 (edited) How much would these go for: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=39182 it'll generally depend on the photos of the item, condition of the box, and how nice the stickers are applied, i'm guessing you'll get 120-170 depending on the condition in the photos. again you may get a random crazy person who's willing to buy higher than that but i think i will prob pay around that range, the vf-0a should be similar but command less than a vf-0s 100-150 range gbp armor no stickers, depends if you have to box or loose but i'd say 80-100 bucks plus shipping. more or less depending on the photos. (again these are ranges i'm sure there's exceptions) i just picked a gpb set urban city camo (worth more than the regular) for 80 bucks plus shipping on mandarake 2 weeks ago, new, never opened. ValkyrieRyan Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 ok, so heres my collection of items. most out of packaging. any questions feel free to ask. VF-1J, I bought in about 2003. 1/72 scale. It's one of those ones that has interchangeable parts and transforms. I don't remember if it was a Macross or Robotech one though. VF-25 Messiah. From 2008, i think. 1/72 scale. Macross Frontier. Destroid of some kind. VF-1J, about about 1996, 1997. Transformable. next to a yellow, new paradeigm Dalek. The yellow valkyrie is a non-transforming super valkyrie from the 15th anniversary collection. it has been autographed by Richard Epcar and Ellyn Stern, voices from Robotech. The Macross Frontier book is a large book with pictures, interviews and tons of other stuff from the frontier series. The VF-19 is from 1997 or 1998. The smaller VF-19 next to it is some rubber one. Not sure where I got that one. Got it around the same time. Ghost in the shell metal box, autographed by Richard Epcar (Batou) and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Major) voices from the show. Other pictures include alternate pictures of the book, the Macross 30th anniversary game, and Final Fantasy 7 action figures, still in their packaging. Quote

OzMosis Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Since I haven't owned a LaserDisc player for over 15 years, I thought I'd ask the community if these LD's still have any value. I have a set of 9 Bandai SDF Macross original TV Series discs that I bought back in my University days. Only Disc's 1 and 2 are open, the remaining discs 3-9 are still NIB and factory sealed. I only watched Discs 1&2 a single time and realized that my Japanese skills were too mediocre to understand. They are still in pristine condition. I can't find any info on these so any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks! Ozzy Quote
g3173 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Hey Macross! it's been awhile and finally getting around to putting these bad ass customs out on display. Moved back in 2006 and they have been in storage ever since. What do you think these guys are worth? These are all custom made by master customizer Jung and Kurt with Anasazi water decals. Blue Rose Squadron, Minimay Guard. Thanks, Gene Quote

mickyg Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Here's one I've been curious about: what's a Yamato v2 DYRL VF-1A w Super/Strike Hikaru version worth? And more specifically, if it's been tastefully weathered and had water slide decals applied? I did all the work. But my curiosity and suspicion is that they'll be worth less having been modified, even if the item now looks awesome (in my humble opinion). Oh, and it's had the exploding shoulders replaced with non-exploding type. Quote
Benson13 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 (edited) Your modification could demand more OR less money due to the potential buyers own preferences. Some guys one a stock one, others want a custom one of a kind. There was a seller about a year ago with a heavily weathered and panel lined 1/48 VF-1J that about lost his mind because no one wanted to buy his "sweet custom valk". The thread had to be closed by mods. While it wasn't a bad looking at no one wanted a his custom. At the same time it could go the other way. You may post it and get a ton of hits. I say post it with it's base price + the can't get it in stores premium + the moderate custom premium and then negotiate privately via PM. edit I found the thread for your personal amusement. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=36738 Edited November 9, 2013 by Benson13 Quote
mickyg Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Thanks Benson! I'm always up for some amusement and think I even remember reading that one a while back. In all honesty, I actually don't know what Yamato VF-1 Valks are worth now that they're gone. My thoughts are that with Arcadia basically offering about the same goods, whatever premium the Yamato offerings once had, are now gone. Guess I need to do some more investigating... Quote

Kicker got banned once? EXO laying down the ban hammer and locking threads?. Never thought this sort of things happened here, we're all lunatics here but nice lunatics. Anyway, any ideas on what's the current market value of a 1/60 VF-1J CF?? I'm seeing them between 200-300 Quote

snkardo Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I'll go first. Yellow Submarine Macross SDF-1 Resin Kit 1/4000 This is the original kit from the original manufacture. I know this kit has been recast in Japan. But what is the original kit worth? REVELL ROBOTECH SPACE FORTRESS SDF-1 Plastic Model Kit 1/5000 Produced in 1985 by Revell. Plastic parts molded by ARII. I see one on eBay (09/09/2010)for $249.99usd, but I'm sure this kit is worth far less. Based on web research (09/10/2010) this kit is worth $25.00 - $100.00 usd. REDS,INC Painted Poristone Model 1/24 Fighter Valkyrie, VF-1S Macross This is the rarest Macross resin kit I’ve ever come across. This is the largest kit ever produced of the Valkyrie. It is over 1.5-feet long! Limited to a run of 300 units for sale in Japan only. I have no idea what this kit is worth in any condition. This particular model has been damaged. It was accidently dropped. So to repair the damage it was put into rubber molds and recast. The duplicate parts were used to replace the damaged parts. Regardless due to its rarity I’m sure someday it will get a proper rebuild and paint job. ¡Que buenos artÃculos! y que gran tamaño de ese VF Quote
nobody0 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Hello all, So I've been going through some of my old stuff that I've had boxed away for a while. One of the items I have is this Lynn Minmay figure that I bought a few years ago at a comic fair: I've been thinking of selling this as a) I would love the money for a new camera and b) I don't really have the space for it. I've been searching around, mainly ebay, to get a rough value. All the listings for this figure I've come across have a green dress. I can't find any in red. So I've come here hoping to get some info from you kind people. I've search and searched and can't see any mention of this figure in red. So what do I have here? Was it released in alternative colours and I'm just not finding it? Is it a knockoff? An uber rare prototype? A custom job? The backing card seems to be the same as the ones I've seen on the green version. The staples around the sides appear to have extra holes so it may have been opened in the past. I hope someone can shed some light on this. Thanks Quote

Here is one long sold out at Angolz.....as you can see.....it was so popular it made it to $5.... http://www.angolz.com/store/1-6-lynn-minmay-special-color-ver-stage.html Quote
