areaseven Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Cowboy Ninja Viking is a limited comic book series by A. J. Lieberman and Riley Rossmo and published by Image Comics from 2009 to 2010. It revolves around a government-trained assassin with multiple personality disorder (hence the title). Five years after the first announcement of a film adaptation, we get some solid information on it: Universal Pictures currently has the film rights after Disney dropped it in 2012. Chris Pratt (Quill/Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, Andy in Parks and Recreation) has been confirmed to star in the film. Looks like that weight-loss program is reeling in the offers. Mark Forster (Finding Neverland, Quantum of Solace) was originally attached to this project as director, but he stepped down. John Wick directors David Leitch (Terry Bogard in The King of Fighters, Convenience Store V in V for Vendetta) and Chad Stahelski are currently in negotiations to take the director's chair. TangledThorns Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Chris Pratt will do anything sci-fi related! He is having the success that Taylor Kitsch wish he had back in 2012. On a side note, even though Bradley Cooper did an excellent job I think Chris Pratt would of made a perfect Chris Kyle in American Sniper. Quote
Duke Togo Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Cyborg Pirate Ninja Jesus totally predates this comic. Just sayin'. Quote
Penguin Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 And here I remember young Riley pencilling his first pages for "Proof" while working down at my comic outlet, "Another Dimension". Hope the licensing deal paid him a few well-earned simoleons. Quote
