Sildani Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 That information was not disclosed. All I care about, is that they're not all released at the same time. I want too many of them. Quote
Duymon Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I really...really hope this doesn't open the door to a bunch of NUNS Hamaval repaints... my wallet and display space can only take so much! Quote
sreichma Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Why? Are they making MF toys? True. I'd like to see that prototype in fighter mode for a more proper comparison. No, I'm just buying so much more from Bandai than Arcadia because of their tool like release schedule. It's to their face because I know Bamdai is hammering them. I am all in for M&M releases though. I really hope not... the Havamal paint scheme was selectable for every non-character VF model in the game... that's a LOT of repaints. Quote

Chronocidal Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I wouldn't mind seeing some VF-171 repaints from the game.. they had both a Gamlin and Millia scheme hidden in there. Quote

3D-Brainx Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Bandai has to keep us busy until the toys for the new show are out. So I think we can expect all the repaints the licence they have will allow them Quote
Spiff Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Not sure I like it, probably because it reminds me of this Turkey! Quote
Dimis Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I'm so torn about this. May i ask: Do all YF-29 repaints have exactly the same heads? (Isamu aside) Quote
wmkjr Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Ozma is different too but the others are the same I think. Quote

Indeed but they depict a different antenna than in the rest of the game: http://img2.78dm.net/forum/201401/07/225359ljvnlts1s3fvfou1.jpg vs http://i.imgur.com/aA8JgrK.png http://i.imgur.com/eqazF.jpeg EDIT: perhaps it wasn't clear, but the point was to tell that Isamu's 29 can have a "standard" YF-29 head also, depending on the sources. ArchieNov Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I'm so torn about this. May i ask: Do all YF-29 repaints have exactly the same heads? (Isamu aside) Aside from what has been mentioned, there is actually a slight difference between the Alto YF-29 head and 30th Anniversary head not too many people know about. If you look at the top of the head unit, you'll see 2 vulcan like projections on each side of the dorsal fin. On Alto's these are pointing in the same direction as the visor. On the 30th, it's pointing the other way. I noticed these a long time ago and at first thought it was a mistake in the assembly. But after looking at several online pics, theirs are the same way too. Not sure if this is intentional or not in the design. So as of the YF-29 releases available now, no 2 head units are exactly alike. Quote

They got lazy and just palette swapped a regular 29 model for the cutscenes. Quote
spanner Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 May i ask: Do all YF-29 repaints have exactly the same heads? (Isamu aside) Seems to be the case.. its a shame as its the least nicest of the head units. That heads visor looks like what Geordi La Forge wore in Star Trek.. 👎 Quote

spanner Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 and still the same old soft plastic banana'd floppy head laser issue.. been struggling to correct this issue with my Alto 29.. Quote
Falcon18 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 They provide hard plastic ones for the new releases anyway. So that shouldn't be that big a deal.. Quote

Xigfrid Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 That's probably why Kurisama made these https://www.shapeways.com/search?q=yf-29+head+turret I don't have Alto's one, so I can't confirm. Quote

Xigfrid Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Your chance these antennas are white, you probably only need to spray a laquer and you should be done. I tried to custom Ozma's antennas and I don't know which color to begin with Quote
chyll2 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 yeah, it is really hard to get white since we have a lot of variation of pink white, blue white Still, I dont understand why it is called B since it is pretty much identical to Durandal. Quote

They mark it as a "B" variant so people think its something new and or different and go buy it! but the truth is very different as we know.. but in saying that I will most likely buy one regardless! xrentonx Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Now that the Advanced is out of the way for most of us, when do you all think we'll see the preorders for this one? Quote
Valk-1S Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Hopefully not too soon as I would like it spaced out a bit. VF-0D is going to put a huge dent in the wallet and I am not sure whether I want to keep my preorder given the Aussie dollar have been falling. Quote

Hopefully not, it looks like an awesome piece too. Quote
Scream Man Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 ...I've actually been having the same thoughts. i love the 0D, but it's a big price, close to $400, and i dont really play around with my Zero stuff much. The flipside of course is that if i don't get it now, i'm almost certainly not going to get it. Quote
Duymon Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Luckily the Yen is much cheaper than when I started collecting frontier in 2012.... it was 76 Yen... now it's like 115-116. That means that prices are like 30% cheaper. Quote
