We can only hope. (Like we've been hoping for how many years now?)

New year, hopefully new releases.

So my wife placed the order receipt for the Hi Metal R VF-4A Lightning III in my stocking! Just waiting for Amazon to ship it!

Thank you. And I wasn't complaining.... I was tempted at that price.

Fock it.  Ordered one on Amazon.  Maybe I'll eventually have enough VF-1J Hikarus to recreate this.

I ended up getting one to use strictly for the VF-1J.  I wonder if Bandai will release a standalone version with that red stand they pictured in the Vermillion squadron photos.

Given that the revival version was the third release of the Hikaru VF-1J (fourth if you count the original Hi Metal release) I doubt they will release it yet again. But this is Bandai we are talking about, so who knows.

In case you weren't aware, the red stand was included with the Kakizaki VF-1A that was released a year or so ago.

I didn't realize that. Thanks for the info.

Any news on next possible release of a new Hi-Metal mold?
I passed on the YF-21 DX so I’m really hoping for a nice version of that one in the HI-Metal scale.

But honestly any other different or villan valks would be great…like the SV-51 from Zero, or can we get into the Deltas?

the VF-4 was such a promising start, I thought we would have bigger selection by now.

Bandai is so random, it's impossible to say. They teased doing more Macross7 toys so maybe a 17 or 11. The 11 would be a great segue to Macross Plus toys.

Any time I see a new comment in this thread I get my hopes up...Tomahawk announcement?

Alas, the wait continues. :)

Yeah, the disappointment is real and it just keeps going on and on... and on... and on... and on... and on... and on....

I really hope they milk the mold of the 19 and give, at least a YF-19 and a VF-19S

They could partially milk the Fire Valk's molds for the other VF-19s, more or less depending on the variant, but not for a YF-19 or VF-19A as those two, although sharing the overall look, are entirely different birds requiring all new tooling with nearly zero parts in common... maybe the hands could be repurposed but not much else.
