ScrambledValkyrie Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 I'll paint up a TV Roy to interchange pilots with the VF-1S when I finish my VF-1A TV Max. Cool. Looking forward to seeing how both turn out. I'm still trying to take out my DYRL Roy pilot. He appears to be glued in pretty good, and I don't want to break anything. Quote

For the original HM VF-1S Roy, the pilot will end up either removed with the peg intact and glue left on the seat or with the peg broken off and glue left on the seat. VF-1J Max available at HLJ. http://hlj.com/product/BANN07904 Edited December 13, 2016 by sh9000 Quote

Big s Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Can't wait for the spartan. I'd been seeing the release info on other sites and been super excited and getting ready for that preorder. Quote
Sandman Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Just noticed one of my hikaru 1Js was missing a fighter stand adapter. It instead came with one of those claw pieces. WTF! Quote
Sandman Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Speaking of the hikaru vf-1j, i'm not sure if this has been discussed before but why does it has a green tinted cockpit? The other valks don't. Quote
dero Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I'm new to this. Â What are "Hi-Metal R"s? The valkyries look very much like plastic with some metal struts and connectors but otherwise it's plastic. The kit looks like it's also utilising a lot of swappable parts like hands, cockpit covers and wings with/without missile pod mount points. Are they a design intended for poseable photography? Quote
spanner Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 gonna try for one or maybe even two of the Spartan next week.. Quote

Roy Focker Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Pre-order is January 6? I was planning to go out of town to a place without Internet access. Change of plans I'm staying in to pre-order the Spartan! Quote
fujikuro Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 A bit out of the loop, having only just gotten my first Hi-Metal R's this Xmas. Â Is the Spartan going to be some kind of exclusive? Â Quote
EmilianoAlfaro Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 What time does the pre-order start on nippon-yasan? Quote

Professor Dire Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 It looks like my "Judge"(%) will be getting a pair of "bailiffs" this spring. Â I am so glad they are continuing with the Destroids. jenius Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Yay for Spartan, can't believe they made it before the Tomahawk. It's gonna look lovely next to the Monster. Looking forward to the rest of the destroid crew as well! Quote

I'm happy with their decision to release it first.  Got 1/60 Tomahawk & Defenders already, but will definitely get the HMR versions if they push through. EDIT: The Robotech Gladiator is a thing, so it did exist in toy form. Edited December 28, 2016 by barurutor Quote
rasky Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 I don't know if this might help anyone, but I had some CDjapan points that were due to expire on January 1st, so I wasn't going to be able to use them for the Spartan release. However, a couple of days ago, I tried to order a Wave Macross model, which the site said was available at the supplier. Today, I got an e-mail stating that my order was cancelled as the item is unobtainable. The good news is, the CDjapan points were returned, but have a new deadline of one year from now, meaning I can use my points for the Spartan after all! Quote
