My 2 cents after getting my first VF in this line:

My CF is loads of fun to play with and display.

For some reason I find it more fun to pose and more striking than the Yamarcadias.

The small size is great for my crowded desktop.

On the down side, I feel like the joints are built to crumble eventually.

For their fragility, the HM-R VFs are not collectible for the long term.

Better hold on to my 1/60s.

Secured a Max on amiami, sweet!

I've had my HM VF-1J's for going on a year and they're around 5 years old right? Still very sturdy. And the HMR are better than the original HM. Due to the scale you need to be gentle with the joints, but they're pretty durable in my book.

I'm really hoping all these random pop-ups mean it's going to be available at release, because I just can't deal with this website whack-a-mole game.

It will be available after release. I can't remember any bandai pre order not being available after release except for the YF-29 Alto. There could be another but I can't remember any in the DX macross line or Arcadia / Yamato line that was not available at release. You wil get one on Nov 10th, maybe a slight mark up from the site of your choice, but it will be there.

Its hard not to, they're basically action figures with great articulation and nearly-perfect transformation at a base price of 6000 Yen/$60 USD. But its not a line to wait on. I fiddle with my HMR far more than any 1/60 toys.

I just ordered a Max through Ami Ami.

Took the opportunity to get some Delta mecha colles and some 1/72 Delta kits. I think that does me until we see some more HMR battroids or enemy mecha.

I'm gonna make some more gunpod effects and start on Regult effects.

That's cool that Max is available and people are buying it and others. Keep the support coming so that HMR can keep growing.

Yeah you figured it out. Inexpensive and still looks ok to me. I'm going to cut up the thin straws and see how it looks as missiles for the Armored Valkyrie.
