easnoddy Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Got my Glaug, man, she's a beauty. Even though I've been getting Arcadia's last releases, the HMR line is the best Macross line (for me) ever. Quote
no3Ljm Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Hey Exo, where this figure comes from? 1/48? 1/72? Thanks. Quote
takatoys Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Hey Exo, where this figure comes from? 1/48? 1/72? Thanks. That's from the CMs cockpit. I guess it is a 1/20 figure. Quote
no3Ljm Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 That's from the CMs cockpit. I guess it is a 1/20 figure. Oh. The Macross Collection figurines? Nice. Thanks takatoys! Quote
EXO Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Yes, Takatoys is right. That's from the CMs cockpit. Now I know how to measure my Glaug pilot. Quote
warrhead Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Fair enough. If it is available anywhere else, look into it. Mykombini might not have the best shipping prices. I'll see your fair enough and raise you an amen. I hope I'm wrong and that the short announcement to sell-out timeline for this one doesn't indicate lack of availability come release date, but I'm all about the SDFM so I'd (er uhm, my display would) feel naked without this one. The HMR items often become available from time to time on different sites. I've ordered every one of them off of my phone so that I can easily refresh the pages. Just for fun. It's a rough job, I know... size.jpg That's cool. I was going to try that when I get them all in. Quote
EXO Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 For everyone waiting on theirs, just remember that Robotech fans are still waiting for the toynami one still on a boat somewhere in the China sea... Quote
jaylive Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Just for fun. It's a rough job, I know... size.jpg so cool please keep this updated Quote
spanner Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 (edited) Dang that is a great shot! Edited June 3, 2016 by spanner Quote
warrhead Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Just for fun. It's a rough job, I know... size.jpg Coolest checklist ever. Quote
treatment Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 No green helmet for a quasi kreo-Quamzin, but it's all good... Quote
Loop Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 For everyone waiting on theirs, just remember that Robotech fans are still waiting for the toynami one still on a boat somewhere in the China sea... LOL, what has it been like 15-20 years now? Quote
aaajin Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Just for fun. It's a rough job, I know... size.jpg It'd be nice if bandai release the destroids as a set Quote
treatment Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Couple of more shots. Spike Witwicky from the TF MP-22 set can be used as a Star League DF Marauder pilot (or some exosquad dude): Scaling against the old crappy pos 1/100 Bandai kit. Also, the HM-R Glaug's cockpit heatshield is on a pull-up hinge: Quote
aaajin Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Yeah... Lol... That's one slow boat... image.jpegimage.jpeg Hikaru's a traitor and sided with the Zentrans!! Quote
Sandman Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 For everyone waiting on theirs, just remember that Robotech fans are still waiting for the toynami one still on a boat somewhere in the China sea... Oh man that story is the most amazing piece of public relation bs I've ever heard come out of a company. Still makes me laugh to this day. Quote

Roy Focker Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 4 days since the last tracking update on my Glaug. It is either still in Japan or here some where in customs. Quote
Nazareno2012 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 For everyone waiting on theirs, just remember that Robotech fans are still waiting for the toynami one still on a boat somewhere in the China sea... So, why don't they just order the HMR version instead? Quote
Duymon Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 So, why don't they just order the HMR version instead? Prolly because a lot of casual robotech fans might not know about the HMR line and even if they did I doubt many would pay the hefty premium for bandai products Quote
EXO Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 So, why don't they just order the HMR version instead? I was kidding... But after a decade, it's probably worth paying for an HMR rather than wait for a boat that slow. Quote
Loop Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 The ship's engine must have broken down or ran out of fuel, it's still on it's way via paddles. Quote
F360 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I'm pretty sure the ship was taking the secret route to avoid pirates at sea . Quote
Big s Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I honestly didn't know toynami ever planned one. Was it going to be just a toy version of the old kit? Either way there's no way it could be any good compared to the hmr. Quote
jenius Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 It was a vinyl toy, limited articulation, no gimmicks. Quote
easnoddy Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 It looked good. I would have bought it. Still would. Much love for HMR Glaug, such a GREAT toy! Still available everywhere, if it ever goes on sale, I'll buy another. Quote
Chronocidal Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I'm pretty sure the ship was taking the secret route to avoid pirates at sea . Maybe they decided the distance was shorter if they just dug a tunnel from China to North America? Should have taken the Northwest Passage, it would have been faster. I'm waiting a bit to ship my Glaug and final YF-19 together, have to see if HLJ comes up with any sales before my warehouse timer runs out. Quote
jvmacross Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Maybe the chinese confiscated the barge containing the Toynami Glaugs and used them as landfill for one of their man-made "islands" in the Pacific... Quote
