fifbeat Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I think Bandai oversized the feet on their Hi-Melal R version but im not complaining at all! Im getting so excited about this release! Woo cant wait! I think the oversized feet makes it look even better! Quote

jvmacross Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) Bandai's Monster "BigFoot" anime style v Original lineart "LittleFoot"..... Edited February 23, 2016 by jvmacross Quote
Old Man Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Too bad HLJ's Regult limit is not 3. The only places I can buy 1 more Regult are cdjapan and nippon-yasan. Where else did you buy from? Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Bandai's Monster "BigFoot" anime style v Original lineart "LittleFoot"..... Looks much better with big feet! Quote
anime52k8 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) tried to put in an order for the glaug, but I don't think it went through. Got a confirmation email. Edited February 24, 2016 by anime52k8 Quote
sh9000 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Where else did you buy from? Amiami, cdjapan, hlj, and mykombini. Quote
jvmacross Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Looks much better with big feet!Yeah....usually we want these companies to stick to the lineart....It seems Bandai can do no wrong these days....Still....it appears in the anime with bigger feet....so it's all good! Quote
wmkjr Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Yay! The monster got the folding ladder gimmick too! Quote
seti88 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Is there a lowering of the back plate gimmick for a more stable firing stance? Quote
wmkjr Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) Yes, you can see it in the smaller pic (from joppewo). Though it doesn't show how it articulates. Pics of the other gimmicks are on the Macrossworld Facebook page. Opening crew compartment and opening rear hatches. Edited February 24, 2016 by wmkjr Quote
seti88 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 hmm i guess they would have to tilt the monster at a 45 degree angle so the plate reaches the ground? Or does an arm unfold more to lower it further down? I cant remember how exactly it was articulated.. Quote
sh9000 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) Yep there's a cockpit. Hope they include pilots. Edited February 24, 2016 by sh9000 Quote
Old Man Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Wow, Bandai is just ticking all of the boxes on the gimmicks I was hoping for in this thing. Touché Bandai...touché... Quote
SuperHobo Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Wow, Bandai is just ticking all of the boxes on the gimmicks I was hoping for in this thing. Touché Bandai...touché... For 25,000 yen it looks like Bandai brought their A-game and they brought the heat with all of those gimmicks. This could be the best SDF Monster for quite some time as long as the joints are well engineered. Quote
seti88 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Noice! thanks for the post sh9000....still no pics on it utilising the back plate although we know it can drop down... Sigh if only the price could drop down too... Quote
jenius Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Is that an escalator that swings down for the crew? Crazy. Amazing detail. Quote
anime52k8 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I think it's just a regular ladder. They're gonna be climbing for a while. Quote
koonfasa Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Did I see stands for the regult somewhere? Quote
Big s Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Is that an escalator that swings down for the crew? Crazy. Amazing detail. Maybe it's a magic ladder the pilots just glide up due to lazy animators Quote
Old Man Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) Is that an escalator that swings down for the crew? Crazy. Amazing detail. Compliments of Macross Mecha Manual The ladder detail is on the left Edited February 24, 2016 by Old Man Quote
F360 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Looks like a very steep slide. kinda remind me of the elephant slides Quote
wmkjr Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Is that an escalator that swings down for the crew? Crazy. Amazing detail. Maybe it's a magic ladder the pilots just glide up due to lazy animators I was thinking it should've been an escalator. If they could move the monster off the ramp that way why not for the monster crew members? Also, that lineart also shows those pistons that allow the monster to look up. Didn't notice it before. derex3592 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 The preorder madness on this is going to be well, I'll just say it..futile for most of us. Quote
Big s Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 The glaug preorder wasn't so bad, but this looks like the best figure of the series. I'm just wondering if the price will be a major factor for people. Quote
seti88 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) The Monster price already is a factor for me. Gonna experience the joy with you folks here when its out eventually hehe.... Edited February 24, 2016 by seti88 Quote

jvmacross Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Imagine two launch arms with M&Ms. ...or how about M&M fitted with atmospheric escape boosters on mobile launch pads! The ultimate VF-1 stands! These need to be done in 1/100 for the HMR line! Quote
