Raikkonen Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Can anyone please post pics of a HMR VF-0 and HMR VF-1 alongside a wave 1/100 VF-1 kit in fighter mode? Want an idea of scale before pulling the trigger on the wave kits. Appreciate it. (Been searching net for days, but nadda) Quote
sh9000 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 The Wave 1/100 VF-1 would be about 1/2" shorter than the HMR VF-1. Quote

If there's ever an update about the Tomahawk, I'll make sure to post about it in the HMR Tomahawk and Phalanx thread. https://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/50435-hi-metal-r-tomahawk-and-phalanx/#comment-1643975 Quote

Tking22 Posted Thursday at 02:53 PM Posted Thursday at 02:53 PM Yeah I'll take one, I like Bandai's newer R 19 mold, it's a fun little toy. Quote
rsvictor1976 Posted Thursday at 03:34 PM Posted Thursday at 03:34 PM (edited) I wonder if the sound booster will fit this. It'd be awesome if someone customized the sound booster into cannons or missile pods. Edited Thursday at 03:36 PM by rsvictor1976 Quote
ScrambledValkyrie Posted Thursday at 11:39 PM Posted Thursday at 11:39 PM Cool, glad to see see another 19. It could be fun if they made it with that color-changing plastic or paint that turned red when it got warm! Quote
Convectuoso Posted Friday at 05:55 AM Posted Friday at 05:55 AM I still wish they make the YF-19 in HMR Quote

Black Valkyrie Posted Saturday at 05:37 PM Posted Saturday at 05:37 PM This is unexpected move by Bandai. Quote

Recently bought the HMR VF-4 and I love it. Unlike the Yamato 1/60 VF-4, whose design Bandai basically copied, I wish they had gone the extra mile to impart shoulder rotation, as it would have improved pose ability immensely. I have the upcoming HMR VF-2SS rerelease POed and I'm excited for it. It'll be my first and only VF-2SS toy, and judging by reviews, it's a really good design. Quote

Yeah, I haven't gotten around the VF-2SS, either. I think it and the VF-19 are the only variable molds I'm missing (I think they also did a an HMR Reguld and a few Destroids, but if it doesn't turn into a plane I don't want it); I've got a VF-4 (in Fokker's colors, not the Flashback one), a VF-0S, a VF-1J Hikaru, and a VF-1S Fokker. ...and when I put it that way, dang. Bandai needs to get cracking. I'd still really like, at minimum, a VF-11 (I prefer C), a VF-17 (I prefer D), more VF-19s (A and F, please), and a VF-22 (Gamlin colors). While they're at it, might as well give me an SV-51 gamma (Ivanov colors), a VF-25S, a VF-27, a VB-6 a VF-31F, and an SV-262. And heck, since they did the VF-2SS, might as well do the VF-2JA and the Metal Siren. And once all those TV valks are out of the way, a VF-3000, VF-5000 (VF-X2 colors), VF-4, VF-14, VA-3, VAB-2, Variable Glaug, and Pheyos. Then if they have time maybe some of the Protodeviln mecha. Yes. The Variable Glaug, VF-5000B M+ colors, and VF-14 are high on my list of wants, although I'd take an Sv-51Y (Nora's)) as I never got that variant in 1/60, but at HMR scale, it'd be a lot more space-friendly on the shelf while maintaining the articulation and detail of its larger variant at a fraction of the cost. I wouldn't mind an HMR VF-9 Cutlass either. There are sp many Macross designs that have yet to be made in the HMR line- Bandai needs to get crackin'! I have Yamato's OG 1/60 VF-4G w/ dark grey nose, and recently I bought the HMR VF-4G in FB2012 colors, so best of both worlds in two scales. I'm with you; if it doesn't transform into an aircraft of some kind, I'm generally not interested, except for the Octos, which becomes a sub. I'd take an HMR of that design, too. Quote
