Mazinger Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 It's as if they have a scheduled release of stock and just don't want to put it all out at once. Or are they really ordering a batch of ten or so here whenever they can? Quote
jenius Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 It's probably just the cancelled pre-orders going back up. Quote
jvmacross Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Perhaps....but it looks like they are using the same illustration for the HMR VF-1S Strike Hikaru and Roy.....just changing up the yellow/red bits and the box coloring style.... Is the box for Roy the same as the box for HIkaru but with a different color background? Seems like it......which is why I thought they would do the same with a potential VF-2SS Tenjin illustrated boxart for Nexx and Sylvie.....unless one with and one without the SAP? I was hoping the ET VF-2SS would have been graced with a Tenjin illustration but that that does not seem to be happening.... Quote
Big s Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) I think they reused the image because it is a web exclusive. When ever I receive a web exclusive they usually have blank package or cheap looking pictures. This time I guess they re colored the old box to save time. Big s Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Sorry if I made it look like a response to my post. I'm a bit new to using this phone. Quote
sharky Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I see a lot of new members on the forum these days. Maybe the Delta news has brought in new people. I'm guessing some might be lurkers that have been around as well. In any case I think it's good. Welcome to all. Quote
Big s Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I stumbled on here while searching for her news. Anyway on gg infinite they have the Roy 1s for $120 U.S.. They also have a holiday sale so if there's anything else available of interest there is some potential for savings. Stupid spell check I was trying to write hmr news not her news. Quote

Big s Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes after shipping and tax, but when buying multiple items the savings codes are $5,15,25 off. I guess the savings would depend on if they had other items of interest. Quote

Welcome to MW guys/girls.Thanks for the welcome.I usually avoid forums due to evil moderators and childish trolls. koonfasa Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Dammit, I have to pay NY for some speederbikes. I'm still holding on to my Hikaru order. And I want two of those Glaugs. Quote

Have we gotten confirmation that this 1S will come with an extra tip for just a super part armor set? My old Roy 1S had a super and strike tip so you could have either look you wanted, my exclusive DYRL 1As super part packs were the same, they came with the extra tip so you could do a super or strike setup. jvmacross Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 The hands look a little too big...but overall looks good... Quote
Tallman Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 The hands look a little too big...but overall looks good... I think not only the hands are too big, but also the legs are too short and small. The head, body legs and hands are not proportional. Maybe this is photograph angle issue? Quote
no3Ljm Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Just the angle or his lens have effects. Quote
jenius Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 You guys are paying too close attention to a terrible photograph... though the backpack is erect so that's nice. Quote
jvmacross Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Wow those hands look huge! LOL! I was actually thinking about posting that same video! Some other terrible photographs showing the hands at other angles! VF-1S MAN HANDS EDITION!!!! Quote
jvmacross Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 maybe the guy put on Arcadia hands...or the HMR GBP hands? If not, the hands in the promo pics are much better scaled and I hope they are packed in the box.... Quote
jenius Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I think the hands are just closer to the camera, note they're not in focus. Quote
anime52k8 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 They don't look like the same sculpt between the two pictures. Quote
jenius Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) Sure, they may be different sculpts, they may be bigger, but they're definitely closer to the camera. You guys should see what this would look like with the integrated hands. .. I love the pic where he looks like he's looking at his hands as if to say 'are these too big? ' Edited November 18, 2015 by jenius Quote
Vifam7 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) The hands are no different from that on the GBP release. The open hand is actually a tad bit big looking. But the above photos are exaggerating it a bit due to poor photography. Also, keep in mind that there are 2 different gungrips. One is the integrated hand version (whose hand is smaller) and the other is the slightly bigger "detail up " version. You'll see what I mean from the Shishioh GBP review here (http://shishioh.info/HI-METAL_R_VF-1J_ARMORED_VALKYRIE.php) Shishioh attached the Strike packs from the old VF-1S Hi Metal in his review. no3Ljm Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 PO cancelled. I still prefer the wrong-colored-fragile-plastics such as pink valks over figures that have big hands. Hahaha! Wait... I didn't plan on preordering this. Hehehe. Quote
