Kanedas Bike Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I can just imagine the meeting at Bandai HQ where they decided how much money they were going to invest into Macross. Would love to know what the Gundam department felt about that...lol -b. Quote
jvmacross Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Special Tamashii mail-order display stands or will they come with the Regults? Wow.... Quote
Frogze Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 HMR annoucements have definitely made me so happy it's a Macross fan's dream come true, so many new mechas! They'd better deliver though because I'd be really pissed if these turn into vaporware Quote
007-vf1 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Is that SDF-1 that big..!!?? I hope is made of cardboard andcsome plastic so it can cost under $300 I am so digging those 1/700 mecha.. Quote
jasonmacross83 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 This reminds me so much of the D-arts Megaman line from a few years back. So much promise (ride armor mech and articulated sigma), but it never happened. I am happy to know Hi-metal line will go very far since almost every pre-order has sold out. At least I have Truforce Megaman X to look forward to Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 How can bandai get the stripes on the chest so wrong?? The VF-1J has the placement and the angle completely wrong, but on the VF-1S the black and yellow stripes are not even consistent between each other. Quote
TheFallen Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I am not big into the canon like you guys so all these different Valks/Mech are going to be on the same team. The only downside with that is they will greatly outnumber the Zentraedi so I am going to have to even them up with extra Regults. That is going to get expensive and will only be possible if they get re-releases down the line. As for casual collectors getting on the HMR line, that is how I am came to be here. I only have a Yamato VF-1S and an Arcadia YF-19 in 1/60 but I am all in on everything in 1/100. Quote
calubin_175 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 The fact that Bandai is going all out with 80s and 90s Macross signals that there is going to be a divide between classic fans and Delta fans. The Delta designs don't appeal to me too much yet and until the super parts are revealed. If I had to choose one line, I will stick with some Hi-Metal, some Arcadia if they are to continue, and Bandai's 1/35. Quote
jvmacross Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Since Bandai is completely aware of the difference between a SDFM and DYRL regult....I wonder if we will see some HMR DYRL Regults in the future? Quote

Major Focker Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I am so digging those 1/700 mecha.. me too. hope to see 1/700 Prometheus, Daedalus, Asuka, ARMD at Wonderfest. Quote

sharky Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Special Tamashii mail-order display stands or will they come with the Regults? Wow.... I know right?! I'm really excited about the stands as well. The cannon on that Glaug needs viagra as it is a little bendy... He just needs a few minutes to recover. He just fired his cannon, and he's spent. Quote

calubin_175 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Special Tamashii mail-order display stands or will they come with the Regults? Wow.... Wow, this scale actually gives people incentive to buy three copies for all three modes. I doubt I would do it though. Quote
spanner Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Special Tamashii mail-order display stands or will they come with the Regults? Wow.... its cool they are making stands for these things! The blue multi valk stand is a nice idea! Quote
TheFallen Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I think Breetai needs to be an honorary member of the HMR line. He will be for me at least Quote
anime52k8 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 the blue stand is just a standard tamashii stage tridant stand with a decal. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN981551/ Quote
sharky Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I think Breetai needs to be an honorary member of the HMR line. He will be for me at least It kind of looks like Kakizaki is trying to fend off Breetai by farting in his general direction. It's either a fart or Kakizaki is trying to make a little kaki on Breetai's zaki. Quote

jenius Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I love how in the Delta thread folks are like 'I'm a grown man and this doesn't appeal to me.' And in this thread people see a robot squatting as it gets hit by a pipe and start fart and sodomy jokes. Quote

I reckon coz most likely at least here in the west, liking prepubescent idol girls is not really quite a grown man thing to be appealed to... Quote
