505thAirborne Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 RIP Mr. Larson. Thank you for giving us Battlestar Galactica and other great shows. So Say We All.
renegadeleader1 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 His shows made up a huge chunk of my childhood... Magnum PI Fallguy Galactica Buck Rodgers and so on. Rest in peace Glen Larson.
taksraven Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 It's a cliche to say this, but he was a true visionary. It was only the budgets of 1970's and 80's TV networks that held him back.
MechTech Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 He was THE reason there were cool shows to watch on TV when I was a child! I think my wife seconds that too! Thanks for some cool shows Mr. Larson and RIP.- MT
terry the lone wolf Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Glen Larson's shows were a BIG part of my childhood..RIP..
areaseven Posted November 16, 2014 Author Posted November 16, 2014 For me, it was always a coin-toss between Glen A. Larson and Stephen J. Cannell over who made the best TV shows of our childhood. It's sad that both of them are no longer with us.
Thom Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 The reason I like Sci Fi at all. You were the man, Mr. Larson. Or i should say, Commander Larson. I wish you fair speed and a bright journey ahead.
VF-18S Hornet Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Rest in Peace Glen, without you I would not had a great childhood watching such great of the 80's like The Fall Guy and Knight Rider my two favorite shows. And without you there would have been no inspiration for the Battlestar Galactica remake for those who didn't see the original.
Gaijin Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 RIP man. Loved all your shows when I was a kid.
