Mommar Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Great shots, Saburo! Thought Ozma29 comes with gunmetal colored gunpod? Nope, only his 25 does. It was a big mistake matching the gunpod to the other 29's IMO. Quote
xrentonx Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I agree. The gunpod not being gunmetal is one of my few complaints. Love how menacing the green eyes look on the Ozma. Saburo's pics show them off really well Quote
chyll2 Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 there is a good thread to discuss about Ozma 29. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=40563&page=51 Quote
Loop Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Lol, chyll2. The threads can sometimes go crazy like this when there is not much more to talk about for a specific item. But yeah guys let's not attract a mod to say "Guys, stay on topic" Quote
Kanedas Bike Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Thought there was some new news on the VF-19, oh well. It does however bear repeating "great pics Saburo"! -b. Quote
xrentonx Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I didn't realize I was off topic! I blame Saburo's awesome pics for distracting me Quote

David Hingtgen Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Ozma is always on topic. He's that awesome. Quote
CF18 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 On topic huh? Bandai don't make the VF-19 mold to only sell one model. An Ozma VF-19 with or without fast pack would be nice. Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Just tampo Ozma's skull on the back and make it a two-seater. Let the great debate begin over who sits in front. Isamu, or Ozma. Quote

xrentonx Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I don't care if it never appeared in a show, movie, comic, or game...an Ozma recolor would absolutely have a place in my collection. I'd get three Wanna milk a mold, Bandai? Quote

I'd get three Wanna milk a mold, Bandai? Bandai will absolutely milk (well relatively speaking for them) this mold. Hopefully whatever schemes they come out with next are exclusives and not retail releases so that they're actually easy to get. -b. Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I'm down for a low viz scheme. Ozma's would qualify. It'd be interesting to see what mold changes they would do. Probably just a new head. Quote
chyll2 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I want bandai to milk the mold, who knows what we will end up getting but I think while Bandai tend to milk all molds as much as possible, they still do it as long as there is a source material. I am up as well for a low viz Jolly rogers for any valk Quote
Xigfrid Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) Imagine the VF-19 advance is becoming the CF valk for the new macross TV serie!? Edited February 4, 2015 by Xigfrid Quote
David Hingtgen Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Imagine the VF-19 advance is becoming the CF valk for the new macross TV serie!? I like the theory posed a while ago, that like VF-17 to VF-171, we'd see a VF-191. Quote
Chronocidal Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I still want a caliburn or active version. Quote
chyll2 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I still want a caliburn or active version. Yeah, we need macross the ride variants. So far, only hasegawa has produced variants based from it and it was only based on the 11. Quote
Mommar Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I like the theory posed a while ago, that like VF-17 to VF-171, we'd see a VF-191. Isn't that what the EF version could be? Quote
Mommar Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Yeah, we need macross the ride variants. So far, only hasegawa has produced variants based from it and it was only based on the 11. Really shouldn't be hard for either company to make some minor retools on their respective products. Well, the Caliburn would take a little bit. New shoulders/legs. Thicker wings. And then the stubby stabilizers up front. I think that's it. If I had the time/money/talent I'd dismantle a Yamcadia 19's legs, figure out the inner mechanism and then redesign it to be like the Caliburn. Quote
Sildani Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Frame Out Models is doing a Caliburn something - it's in the Wonderfest thread. Quote
wmkjr Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Frame Out Models is doing a Caliburn something - it's in the Wonderfest thread. Those are conversion kits for the 1/72 models. I didn't add them in that thread because I figure it belonged in the model section while the other two are for the toys. Who knows, maybe summer wonderfest they might be working on a 1/60 caliburn conversion? Quote

wmkjr Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 (edited) I can't wait to get the Bandai advance in hand to compare it next to the Arcadia in the flesh. These are the parts included for the kits, disregard it being the 2013 Wonderfest http://frameout.blog67.fc2.com/blog-entry-482.html. I can see for 1/60 or DX it will be more complex, especially if you had try and take it apart to replace pieces. Edited February 5, 2015 by wmkjr Quote
Omicron Zero Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I like the theory posed a while ago, that like VF-17 to VF-171, we'd see a VF-191. If that happens I may have to finally break my "no army building" rule for my collections. Quote
neoexcaliber Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 If Bandai is gonna milk the mold, the first variant will definitely be that pink VF-19 from Macross 30. Do not want. Quote
Mechamaniac Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Jebus. How did I miss the boat on this one? Quote
close313 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I really think that aiysha's pink 19 is a given since that is under M30 like the Chronos. Quote
xrentonx Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 You know...I might buy a pink 19...but only one Quote
Mommar Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) I'd buy a Maxl and Pink Pecker, might as well add a Pink 19 to that as well. And while we're on this bend I'd buy that white and pink 27 too. I really hope I get one of these 19's, I'm very curious what the damn thing is like. Edited February 6, 2015 by Mommar Quote
