Kanedas Bike Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Seriously, it's about time. And I love the casting choice, Chadwick Boseman is an amazing actor. -b. Quote
Twoducks Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Thanos is going to have a lot of heroes to deal with!! Quote
EXO Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Wow, the suit looks great. And the casting is also great. This guy was so good in 42 and that James Brown movie. The casting on these Marvel films are so opposite of the stunt casting on the DC movies. Quote
reddsun1 Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 (edited) Well, if he weren't 50, Djimon Hounsou would have made an awesome choice for the Black Panther. He fit well in the role for the animated series; he's a pretty good actor; and he's actually African. Edited October 30, 2014 by reddsun1 Quote
Kanedas Bike Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Well, if he weren't 50, Djimon Hounsou would have made an awesome choice for the Black Panther. He fit well in the role for the animated series; he's a pretty good actor; and he's actually African. Marvel did well in this instance. This guy is a pretty good actor too and at least he's Black, from that standpoint alone it's a great casting choice for the character. You can look at a certain big-budget movie coming out in December directed by Ridley Scott as a prime example of poor, or all-too-typical Hollywood casting. I'm stoked for this release, hopefully the Director, Writer and other cast fall into place as well. -b. Quote

slide Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 looks good [what has marvel done that doesn't?] Quote
Kanedas Bike Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Looks very good (as other's have said, what I've come to expect out of Marvel). The CGI at the very end took me out of the moment though. The roof of the car looks like it came straight out of a video game cutscene. Hoping for a compelling story and strong characters. -b. Quote
Mommar Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Man, I like Black Panther as a character and I really love Chadwick Bosemans portrayal of T'Challa but the trailer did nothing for me at all. Quote
seti88 Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 extended trailer...damm BP is turning out to be one slick movie.. Quote
kajnrig Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Is this "extended" trailer just the newest one with the older one pasted on at the end? This channel does that a lot, it's pretty frakking annoying. Quote
no3Ljm Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 TBH, the editings great too. I like it. I was already half way on the next segment when I realized I already seen that trailer before. So I guess it really worked when they edit like that. Can't say the same though on the last Bayformers. Quote
Mommar Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 I don't care about any of those figures... Quote
sh9000 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Killmonger looks kind of cool but that’s pretty much it. I’d get it only with a huge discount. I like the Civil War Black Panther costume and figure more. Quote
Mommar Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Maybe having an unmasked Boseman head would be cool too, but I agree the Civil War costume looks much better. Quote
TangledThorns Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Got out tickets for Black Panther next week at the Alamo Drafthouse. Thankfully they have showings where talking is allowed plus infants as we'll be bring our almost two month old son with us. Quote
