cool8or Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Cap, to hear that you have the N-Ger and Q-Rau in your top three next projects, is enough to me at this time!! I agree that this is the right time to do a 1/48 Legioss, and if we want it to join our resin Inbits army, I think that the Soldier version is the best option. Quote
Phyrox Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Hi guys. In the interest of at least rounding-out the MOSPEADA series, I was thinking about a 1/48 Legioss soldier or 1/10-12 Protector as the next project, and then possibly coming back to do a 1/72 N-Ger or Q-Rau if there's enough interest. For now, I have my hands full casting Baby Crabbs PROTECT INBIT! Modelers, be reasonable. There's Cap's 1/35, and the Wave kit out there. We have Legioss kits The Protect Inbit has never been done by anyone that I've seen. This is a chance to get something unique, that you will never see anyone else doing. Sure, 1/48 Legioss would be nice to go with the crabs we already got...but not nicer than something that otherwise would never see the light of day. Quote
Cesar Enrique Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Another Legioss? I vote for the reissue of Captain´s regult scout, regult pod and Officer´s Zentraedi battle Pod kits. Or even a bigger Pink Space Crab, as the last one was pretty small. Quote
captain america Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Thanks for the feedback guys. It's very true that there are a lot of Legioss offerings already out there (Aoshima, Toynami, CM) although to be fair, the 1/72 Wave kit is an abomination in my eyes. For a plastic model that doesn't even transform, the proportions are grotesque... They had ONE job, ONE! That being said, I may just give priority to the Protector but of course, you guys have the final word: I just count the votes. Quote
mechaninac Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 A protector in either 1/18 (CMS Ride Armors scale) or 1/10 (Beagle/Toynami scale) would be awesome. I'd actually prefer 1/18 since CMS' lineup of Ride Armors is complete, and the price would be more affordable too. Quote
cool8or Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) I'd buy a Protector only if is in 1/10, to match the Beagle Ride Armor. I'm not interested in other scales. Edited January 7, 2015 by cool8or Quote
Tober Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 1/10 Protector is my most wanted. Is there any chance of doing the 1/48 Legions as a scaled down version of your 1/32 option kit? Quote
Smut Peddler Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 1/10 Protector is my most wanted. Is there any chance of doing the 1/48 Legions as a scaled down version of your 1/32 option kit? Drools Quote
Vermillion One Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 If I had one vote, its for the Legioss. Quote
DarrinG Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Just another opinion, but I can't see myself ever displaying my Beagles with a Protector resin kit. I hope that EXO creates us a Shapeways 1/48th Protector to display with Cap's 1/48th line. 1/48th Armo Soldiers and then maybe Armo Fighters is the best way to go . . . Quote
DarkArchon3000 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) Well I'm excited just to hear that there is a possibility of a 1/72 N-Ger or Q-Rau. A 1/48 non-transforming Legioss with head options makes sense as the next kit in the current line up and I would be in for a few. Now a 1/10 line that includes a Protector and non-transforming Ride Armors would be my dream choice. While the toys are nice and there are transforming plastic kits, the proportions are always a compromise for transformation. I would love to see Ride Armor models in Captain's line art accurate style. Edited January 7, 2015 by DarkArchon3000 Quote
AcroRay Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Good gosh, gang! Take some time to enjoy the Inbits before your attentions move onward! Quote
mechaninac Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 ^We've got the attention spans of drunken gnats, we can't help it... Quote
captain america Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 Casting is almost done. I can feel it coming in the air tonight Quote
Skull One Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Mr. Captain America: Please i want one set for me please. Best Regards! Skull One Quote
Smut Peddler Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 When will these start shipping out? Quote
captain america Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 Shipping starts tomorrow. In the meantime, a few dry-fit pictures. The parts are still roughly finished and held together with hot glue, but I think that the essence of the kit is well conveyed. Quote
Cesar Enrique Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Whoahhh!! And the good thing is they are 2 figures, I will build them as soon as they arrive Quote
Tober Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Another job well done Capt! How well do you find the hot glue works? Quote
mechaninac Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 That looks fantastic. You arguably left the best for last. I can't wait to get my set. Quote
captain america Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 Another job well done Capt! How well do you find the hot glue works? Thanks for the kind words. The glue from the hot glue gun is a f*!@# nightmare clusterfrack of frustration and mental anguish, but it's quick and can be removed without damaging the parts as needed. That's how I really feel Quote
cool8or Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 That's it!!! The BEST Inbit collection EVER made!!! Quote
varitechs Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 That's it!!! The BEST Inbit collection EVER made!!! I don't have any better words Quote
AcroRay Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Beautiful! I'm so glad to have been able to get a slot in this kit run, John. Quote
