coronadlux Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I'm afraid that I wont be able to maximize the sculpting skills of the Capt'n with my meager skills. But still, I await the updates. Quote
captain america Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 Hi guys! I was going to post an update today but as I'm in the closing stages of the sculpting, I figured I'd stretch things out to Friday and by then basters should pretty much be done. I think I would have finished a week ago had there not been so many "things" going on behind the scenes but alas, better late than later... Or never Quote
coronadlux Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 You always come thru. I'm sure we all understand that "life" gets in the way of hobbies. So no worries. Quote
captain america Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 Update day right? Hell yes!!! I'll have pics of the masters by either tonight or tomorrow... Camera batteries are charging. Quote
captain america Posted December 13, 2014 Author Posted December 13, 2014 Baby Crabb masters are now officially done! Please forgive the posing: the parts are very small/delicate and I'd like to avoid damaging them, but I think that you'll get the idea Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Wow!!!! It's a whole new level of awesome. Can't wait until I get it and compare it with the one that I'm scratchbuilding. Quote
cool8or Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 yeah! far better than the tiny 1/72 that I have. thank you Cap! Quote
MechTech Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Awesome! I believe you've captured the lineart perfectly! If only my current budget allowed for it...-MT Quote
AcroRay Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 D'awwww! How CUTE! Lethally so! Does widdle baby crab want a widdle L.E.D. EYE? Why - Yes, you do! Good little baby crab! Quote
captain america Posted December 14, 2014 Author Posted December 14, 2014 Funny enough, the one part that has been carried-over from all my inbit models is the sensor-eye which, of course, will be molded translucent and separate for lighting purposes! Quote
captain america Posted December 19, 2014 Author Posted December 19, 2014 Quick update: half the molds are done, should have the the rest done Monday... Then casting officially begins, albeit late. Quote
AcroRay Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 (edited) I've waited 3 decades for this as a kit. I'm fine waiting a bit longer, if it gives you the time and space to do what you need to do. Edited December 19, 2014 by AcroRay Quote
captain america Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 Molds are done and I will start casting after New Year's Quote

Smut Peddler Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 About the only thing left on my mospeada wishlist is conversion kits of yellow and fuke's ride armor for the 1/10 beagle/toynami ride armors. Quote
captain america Posted December 31, 2014 Author Posted December 31, 2014 Hey guys! I wanted to take it upon myself to wish you all a preemptive happy new year, and leave you with some pictures of my progress on the Baby Crabbs! Quote
mechaninac Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Oooo... baby crab cakes for the new year... Quote
Smut Peddler Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 What's next on your list. Everyone of the inbit kits was awesome. I'm curious to see what the next undertaking will be. Quote
derex3592 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 I have a few suggestions! After you take a well deserved break of course.... 1:60 Ghost from Macross Plus??? Obviously no company is ever gonna do it... All 4 of the main Zentradi capital ships. Would love to see your interpretation of these all matching in some scale. Ohh.. and a reissue of the gunboat you did for those of us who missed it. Hovertank??? 1:48 scale. not sure what mode would be coolest... Quote
cool8or Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 my top one in my list is the same since several years: The N-Ger!! Quote
Smut Peddler Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 my top one in my list is the same since several years: The N-Ger!!A 1/48 Nousjadeul Ger would be awesome,so would a 1/48 Queadluun-Rau Quote
cool8or Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 I need it to "finish" my 1/72 collection! Quote
neptunesurvey Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 This would look nice with the other 1/72 items you have created. Quote
captain america Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Hi guys. In the interest of at least rounding-out the MOSPEADA series, I was thinking about a 1/48 Legioss soldier or 1/10-12 Protector as the next project, and then possibly coming back to do a 1/72 N-Ger or Q-Rau if there's enough interest. For now, I have my hands full casting Baby Crabbs Quote
DarrinG Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 PLEASE don't do the 1/48 Legioss soldier -- cuz I would have to buy it. Include 3 head designs and I might have to buy 3 ---- : ( Quote
Vermillion One Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 PLEASE DO the 1/48 Legioss soldier -- cuz I would have to buy it. Include 3 head designs and I might have to buy 3 ---- : ) Edited. Quote
