Forrest Gump 20th Anniversary

Earlier this month, the 1994 epic film Forrest Gump was re-released on IMAX for its 20th anniversary. Time sure flies, doesn't it?

A couple of reviews showing how this film holds well today as it did back then.

Awesome movie, I still need to pick it up on Blu ray (never bought it on DVD).

Went and saw it on Saturday, even the running sequence wasn't so bad in Imax.

The audio for the Vietnam battle sequence were fantastic.

The movie was infinitely better than the book it was adapted from.

one word - MONEY.

I have read one of his histories of the civil war and it was excellent.

Easily a personal favorite. I'm glad to see it's back, but I don't believe the current generation of mindless movie-goers can appreciate this movie and it's brilliance. Nevertheless I will go out and support it....

Why wouldn't they be able to?
