cool8or Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 i like the pilot very much, but I'm very dessapointed about the circles in front of the intakes. Quote
big F Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 i like the pilot very much, but I'm very dessapointed about the circles in front of the intakes. They'll be a pain to fill. Quote
Spitfire_BR Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 (edited) when buying the gerwalk remember to add an Tamiya putty - don't give more money to Hasegawa ! Edited November 14, 2014 by Spitfire_BR Quote
mslz22 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Hopefully the circles are just on a test shot, I bet they can still be ground off the mold since they are recessed. If not it's a strange choice to have those there. Quote
GMK Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Hopefully the circles are just on a test shot, I bet they can still be ground off the mold since they are recessed. If not it's a strange choice to have those there. They look to me like they're from ejector pins, to get the plastic out if the molds themselves, not raised circles in the mold. It could've been that the test shot was ejected before it cooled enough. All speculation on my behalf, of course. Looks good, just a bit disappointed in the seeming inflexibility of the pose. Quote
big F Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 (edited) I think they are injector pins, you can also see sprew marks on the grey parts like they just slapped it together for a quick photo. IIRC I ihad an old Bandai kit that placed pins there too. Edited November 15, 2014 by big F Quote
Kelsain Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Iirc, the hasegawa fighter has them there, too. I need to finish my preorder for this... Quote
Spitfire_BR Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Oh dear ! Marry me, please !!!! I love you !!!! ( I'm asking the gerwalk, just to make it clear ! ) Quote
Vifam7 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Is that an all new nose sculpt? Looks a bit different from the 1/72 fighter. Quote
Kelsain Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I wonder why they changed the shape of the leg fins? Quote
cool8or Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 It looks great! But what about the display? It will be included with the gerwalk kit? I ask because I dont see a preorder button for the display alone. Quote
Jefuemon Posted November 22, 2014 Author Posted November 22, 2014 It looks great! But what about the display? It will be included with the gerwalk kit? I ask because I dont see a preorder button for the display alone. Yes, the display stand is included with the kit. Quote
cool8or Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 (edited) It would be great if Hase also sell the display by separate. Edited November 22, 2014 by cool8or Quote
Jefuemon Posted November 22, 2014 Author Posted November 22, 2014 It would be great if Hase also sell the display by separate. 2 possibilities for getting one. 1. After the Gerwalk kit is released, they'll sell it separately. 2. After the Gerwalk kit is released, I could order the stand parts directly from Hasegawa as a "replacement". Quote
mickyg Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 That stand has been showing up a bit lately. I got one in my F-35A kit I ordered at the start of the year. I'm betting they're going to be included in more kits. Stand alone, not so sure. Quote
GMK Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Is that an all new nose sculpt? Looks a bit different from the 1/72 fighter. I thought that too. I wonder why they changed the shape of the leg fins? Saw that - I don't get it. Maybe for clearance for the arms? Quote
Spitfire_BR Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 already in "pre-oder", on Ebay ! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hasegawa-Macross-25-VF-1J-A-Gerwalk-Valkyrie-1-72-Model-Kit-65725-/231407014738?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item35e0eed352 Quote
Jefuemon Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 I got notice from Amazon that I should get my weapons set either tomorrow or Tuesday. Quote
mickyg Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I see the Gerwalk kit will be out in December. I don't need one but I certainly want one. The pilot figure would be very nice to have as well. Quote
MechTech Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I like the weapons being molded in color-easier to finis off. Thanks for sharing.-MT Quote
no3Ljm Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) More photos from TagHobby. Box Art sans the text and logos. Love the artwork on this one. Wish I could find a little bigger for wallpaper. Edit: I didn't know this link has been posted before. Sorry guys. But still that box art is gorgeous. Edited December 3, 2014 by no3ljm Quote
big F Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Has anyone revived a notification on their preorder yet. Quote
TMBounty_Hunter Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) Hasegawa's site has been listing the 18th as the release day, so it's probably a bit early for any notifications. Unless there's something I don't know about how Hasegawa does things...would be nice if it came out a day or so earlier and let me bundle it with my other private warehouse stuff. Cesar Enrique Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 I can´t wait to have it, build it as soon as it arrives, and compare it with my own hasegawa gerwalk: Quote
