Jefuemon Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 According to this tweet: 1/48 VF-1 weapons set in November from Hasegawa. 1/72 VF-1 J/A Gerwalk in December. Quote

505thAirborne Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Can't wait to get some of the 1/72 Gerwalks! Quote
Kelsain Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I was gonna do some gerwalk conversions someday. But now, I may say F' it. Quote
Jefuemon Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 I was gonna do some gerwalk conversions someday. But now, I may say F' it. I know. I have an extra Minmay Guard Battroid I was gonna strip for parts, and a VF-1S I bought at Mandarake on the cheap. Thanks OK, though, since I'd rather have an official Gerwalk kit. Quote
cool8or Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I was absolutely sure that this or next year Hase will produce the weapon set... But I never expected about the gerwalk!!! This is absolutely great!! I will sleep less than usual tonight.... Quote
big F Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I'm all over that like hot butter. Now all we need is a GBP in any scale, I don't care just make one !!!! Quote
Chas Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) Umm . . . So . . . About the tweet and the account that it came from - credibility? I mean who is this @megaroad01 and where did this info come from? I can see no mention of it on Hasesgawa's own twitter feed in the last 12 days. I want more info on the source of this news before I get all worked up. Granted my Japanese reading skills are so bad as to be almost nonexistant, but I can recognize 1:48, 1:72, and VF-1 and I don't see them in any of the tweets. Can someone get a more official source for this? Or more info on the @megaroad01 twitter account? Edited August 23, 2014 by Chas Quote
Kelsain Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I know, right? When was hasegawa's last new 1/72 mold? Quote
mslz22 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 The weapons set sure seems credible, the Max and Millia 1/48 set set already has parts on it to join the 2 nukes together like in DYRL, as opposed to 3 separate like TV. Really hope the weapons are up soon, I have a bunch of 1/48's that need them! Quote
Fatalist Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 The fourth pic in this thread from the OP, I believe at the bottom of that pic is the Hasegawa announcement for the 1/72 Gerwalks, but I could be wrong.http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=40713&page=27 Quote
Chas Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Yep. That looks about right to me as well. Just to the right seems to be info bout the weapons set too. No dates there that I can make out. Sure would be nice to get better scans of that page. Quote
valkyriepilot Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) And to the left of the Gerwalk article in that pic is the one for the weapon set. EDIT: ninja'd by Chas The fourth pic in this thread from the OP, I believe at the bottom of that pic is the Hasegawa announcement for the 1/72 Gerwalks, but I could be wrong. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=40713&page=27 Edited August 23, 2014 by valkyriepilot Quote
007-vf1 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) Gerwalk... yes..!! Is a bit of a tedious pain to build the conversion from the 2 hasegawas and I am past that stage by now. I wonder who will be the first one to build an armored gerwalk?? Edited August 24, 2014 by 007-vf1 Quote
ivorysniper Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Ohhh yess !!. Going for that 1/72 GERWALK for sure !! Quote
big F Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Gerwalk... yes..!! Is a bit of a tedious pain to build the conversion from the 2 hasegawas and I am past that stage by now. I wonder who will be the first one to build an armored gerwalk?? That was always my plan with the spare 1/72 kits I bought. I guess I may have some spare spares now. Quote

If I'm reading it right, the Gerwalk kit is coming with a TV pilot, and markings for Vermilion Squad! Also, thanks for the thread re-title! Edited August 26, 2014 by Jefuemon Quote

vincemoto7 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Pre-ordered the weapons set from HLJ. Thought we were going to wait a LLLOOOOONNNGGG TTTIIIIIMMME before the super strike had some teeth. Quote
Zinjo Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 (edited) All I need now is an aftermarket Armored GERWALK conversion kit and I'm set! Edited August 26, 2014 by Zinjo Quote
valkyriepilot Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 The way Hasegawa is doing their releases right now, it isn't too far-fetched to see a separate Super/Strike pack (plus possibly some of the warheads from the Weapon Set set) Hey, one can dream! Quote
nexxstrait Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 (edited) And a Battroid 1/48 too, maybe? :-) Edited August 26, 2014 by nexxstrait Quote
big F Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 And a Battroid 1/48 too, maybe? :-) I'm guessing they are gonna fix that soon. Quote
Chas Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Anyone know if the Gerwalk kit is complete? or is it just the parts needed to convert a fighter kit to a Gerwalk? I ask 'cus the price seems really cheap for a whole complete Gerwalk kit from Hase. Quote
