spanner Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 this is a perfect color combination! Looks fantastic! Quote
lancalot Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Man how come everywhere i look the vf19P is there!!! ...man that looks great .....dam..... Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) I just wish I would've picked it up sooner Edited February 1, 2015 by ChaoticYeti Quote
spanner Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 @derex3592 Nice Valks! & kitchen! no seriously I love those bench tops! Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 Nice set ups! Is that VF-4 panel lined, or is it the lighting? Either way it looks great. Quote
derex3592 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Painstakingly panel lined and I trimmed all the stickers. It looks like a model...but it's a "toy"! Quote
Saburo Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 @Yeti That VF-19P looks awesome, nice pickup! @derex your VF-4G looks great with all panel lining. I don't have the guts to do that, I'd probably mess it up. Quote
Xigfrid Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Nice VF-4! The stickers rsally bring the details up to a new level Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 Thank you to bbrain for sending this over. Working on an adapter. Should have something later today. Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 Can anyone accurately measure the diameter of the 1/55 gunpod in decimal millimeters? I would like to integrate a clip for the gunpod into the stand adapter. Thanks. Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 Looking good. Fighter mode is almost done. Quote
wmkjr Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) Can anyone accurately measure the diameter of the 1/55 gunpod in decimal millimeters? I would like to integrate a clip for the gunpod into the stand adapter. Thanks. How are you gonna mount it with the grip in the way? Edited February 2, 2015 by wmkjr Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 Nice! probably going to have the gunpod on its side, as it doesn't seem like the arms want to leave a gap for the gunpod. Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 Or would a clip that attaches to the wrist holes be better? That way the gunpod could sit back where wmkjr has it shown. Is that too far back? Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 Passes the upside down test: Quote
wmkjr Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I like the gunpod fins in the vertical. It's too far back but it looks like that's the only place it can go. Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Yes, that might have to be a compromise. Could you give me L x W x H of the straight section on the gunpod grip? I am going to move onto gerwalk. Fighter adapter is solid. Edited February 3, 2015 by ChaoticYeti Quote
Moosey Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Makes me want to retrieve my Jetfire from my Dad's garage! Unfortunately the super parts are toast (my old dog saw to that) I can see some Yetistand in my future. Just ordered some acrylic display stands to elevate some of my flightpose but it's not a particularly elegant solution. Those formation -19's above are spectacular as is derex's panel lined 4G. Edited February 3, 2015 by Moosey Quote
wmkjr Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Here are the measurements I got. As for the width, it was tricky as there is a slightly thicker front. It measured 4.75 on the front and 4.35 on the back. Length Height Edited February 3, 2015 by wmkjr Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 That is good enough. Thank you! Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 Not a very possible figure, but first go at gerwalk: Quote
Raya1823 Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 LMFAO!!! OMG Yeti, now I need to order some more stands and adapters. Amazing, simply amazing!!! Quote
spanner Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Payinstakingly panel lined and I trimmed all the stickers. It looks like a model...but it's a "toy"! Looks spectacular! All it needs now are the Skull squadron stickers on the vertical stabilizers! Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 Is there any demand for having the 1/55's on a stand in battroid mode? The attachment point would be right about where the nosecone is. Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Now with gunpod cage. Clip for gunpod is printing now. Neither of these will be compatible with the arm parts. The arm parts have some pretty frail looking clips, and I did not want to incorporate anything that attempts to interface with them. Safely cradling them with an adapter that goes around the arms puts the pivot too far back, in my opinion. I think leaving the arm armors off is a fair compromise. SuperSenpai Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I apologize if this has been covered already, but has anyone tried fitting a YetiStand with multiple arms within a Detolf shelf? What's the most anyone has done? Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 I have had 3 on the similar sized shelves on the ikea Kallax. I prefer 2. Quote
Saburo Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) I apologize if this has been covered already, but has anyone tried fitting a YetiStand with multiple arms within a Detolf shelf? What's the most anyone has done? I have been able to get 3 arm to fit with 1/60 VF-1, with VF-25's I can get 2 arm to fit. Edited February 3, 2015 by Saburo Quote
The Old Man Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I've just noticed that theses are with the new adapters! Lol. Excellent! They look like they work perfectly. Quote
wmkjr Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Something different (credit goes out to fellow members for the idea!): Quote
