areaseven Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 So with two different types of trailers being released, does that mean there will be two versions of this movie hitting the cinemas at the same time? Has something like that ever been done before? No. There will only be an R-rated version of the film. The reason why we have two different types of trailers is that one is for general TV broadcast and the other simply isn't. Quote

Oh god Well, lechuck's location says "Germany". Not every country is as uptight as America and feels the need to release different versions of movie trailers. Quote

Mr March Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) That is pure comedy gold! I wonder how many romantic comedy fans this will inadvertantly snag Edited January 12, 2016 by Mr March Quote
Graham Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Looking forward to this, if only for the one-liners and Desert Eagle action. Quote
Mommar Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 I wonder how many women will see that bit of trailer and get super pissed when their boyfriend takes them to see the actual movie. Quote

Mommar Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Don't ever accuse Ryan Reynolds of not having fun. Quote
sh9000 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I'll be wearing my Deadpool shirt on opening day. Quote
Jefuemon Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Good! I was wondering if it was actually going to play over here. Anyone notice the dialog change? Quote
areaseven Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Anyone notice the dialog change? Where he calls Gina Carano "not-so-angry Rosie O'Donnell" instead of "Jose Canseco"? This is essentially the first trailer, but with Japanese subtitles. I'm surprised the Japanese didn't add any extra footage. Quote
mickyg Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Probably THE dumbest question yet, but how does he see out of those "eyes" on the suit? Is there ever any explanation given in the comic for this? I'm obviously more curious how he does it in the real suit, given the lack of CG in his promo spots where he's wandering around random neighbourhoods, chatting with folks. The eyes must not be quite as opaque as they appear to be. Quote
sh9000 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) The movie was screened and it is EXCELLENT. Edited January 20, 2016 by sh9000 Quote
azrael Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 The movie was screened and it is EXCELLENT. If you mean those Twitter posts, then I'm gonna say, wait for it to actually come out. Why? Because there were posts on Twitter with those same reactions for Fantastic Four last year. Quote

sh9000 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Nope. I didn't read about anything on Twitter. The last time I've been on Twitter was when I read about some losers gossiping about nonsense. Quote

Wait, and we talking about Twitter, or Macross World? My Twitter feed is mostly film and baseball news. It is whatever you want it to be. Quote
dart Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 I'm looking forward to this flick. I love that "romantic" movie trailer. I'm super happy that Ryan Reynolds came back as Deadpool. He's got the comedic timing and dark sense of humour to do the character justice. I'm sure it'll be good. It looks good, much better than FF4 did. Quote
sh9000 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Ryan Reynolds wants an R-rated X-Force movie. http://comicbook.com/2016/01/19/ryan-reynolds-wants-a-r-rated-x-force-movie/ Hell yeah. If they don't do 90's X-Force, they should do Uncanny X-Force because they are badass. Quote
CoryHolmes Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 If there was ever an award for marketing, this movie team gets it. It's so much better than the Star Wars team, plastering the logo onto EVERYTHING. And Ryan looks like he's just plain having fun Quote
sh9000 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) Next week. Can't wait. Too bad Zoolander 2 is not showing at the same theater. Meanwhile Deadpool takes over my game. Edited February 5, 2016 by sh9000 Quote
