Gakken85 Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Is it bad that I want a second one to try a custom camo scheme on, before my first has even arrived??? Do it. Would love to see. Quote
spanner Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Just got my shipping notice from NY. Same for me! woo! much quicker than I had anticipated.. Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I snatched one from Hlj at the last minute. Any reviews up yet? Quote
calubin_175 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 So everywhere sold out due to the grey goggle confirmation. Went with Bandai instead during the lead up to the release. Oh well, I would rather wait for VF-0 Armored. Quote
spanner Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 only this which was posted on a previous page.. http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/userid/582954/blog/35778250/ Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I didn't care about the goggles, really. I could always paint it gray if it bothered me too much and I've no modeling skills at all. (Edit for grammar). Quote
barurutor Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 there are a few popping up on YJA now, between 22-25k yen. Quote
spanner Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 (edited) Just checked the tracking and there are no updates as yet.. seeing that its still only Monday here in Australia im hoping that it'll arrive by Friday at the latest! fingers crossed.. Edited June 1, 2015 by spanner76 Quote
jenius Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 After my last NY shipment spent over a week in Los Angeles customs I'm not going to get my expectations too high on a speedy delivery. Quote

spanner Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Where's my shipping notice? who did you buy it from? Quote
neoexcaliber Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 who did you buy it from? Nippon yasan, but I do usually get a notice later than everyone else. I miss the days when they used to tend to me first... Quote
spanner Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I have noticed a change in their handling methods over the last 18 months especially.. either they have changed the way they do things or simply getting a great deal more business which is the cause who knows..? Quote

I think they decided to piss off 1 customer instead of 10. It makes more sense business and customer support wise. After all, it's not like that 1 customer with a larger order is gonna bug them 10 times. Quote
troyness Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 (edited) thanks anubis20 for the pics...I hate it when a VF 1/60 is posed with it's head looking up..cheapens the look of the toy. I like a slightly worms eye view with the head looking down at u...very intense!! Edited June 1, 2015 by troyness Quote
Gunn Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Found some more pics on twitter Judging from these pics and the previously posted ones, is it safe to assume that the 1 (on the chest) & 101 (on the right knee as well as behind the wrists) are stickers? If so, do most collectors apply accompanying stickers/decals to their toys? I'm a very long time fan of Macross but have only recently started collecting and currently own mostly 1/60 bandai's, so I'm unfamiliar with any toys that come with stickers. Quote

Most of toy owner dont ever use the stickers/decals so if ever they want to sell the toy later, the package will be complete and the toy is in original state. Quote
Gunn Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Thanks for the quick response chyll2 For now, I probably won't sell anything i own, but that's cuz I don't have that many pieces now. I may feel different in the future as the collection grows. Quote
OzmaLee74 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 NY shipped mine. I already have the Yamato version so I'm still wondering if I should keep this. Quote
bbrain Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 NY shipped mine. I already have the Yamato version so I'm still wondering if I should keep this. You should give it to me =) Quote
valhary Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I also have the yamato so was easy to me skip this but I really hope arcadia will release a few repaints like a low vis or urban camo Quote
no3Ljm Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Finally paid mine over the previous weekend. Just waiting for shipping notice. Yeah, most of us here don't apply the stickers. But some does. And you could still sell it even the stickers has been applied. But that makes the price a little bit lower though. I'm planning on applying mine in the future but not with the stock stickers. I'll probably go with a waterslide ones once I have time to redo the stickers. Quote
Scyla Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I wonder if Arcadia skipped the "1" print because it was never shown in the animation of DYRL (and this is the DYRL version I reckon). Arcadia seems to only print the details that show up in the animation thus missing the U.N.Spacy marking on the VF-0D and the missing ejection seats warning signs. I don't know why they do it. Maybe to save costs (I can't imagine one marking would cost that much) or because they have a new license deal with Big West that says that they must be animation accurate. Please correct me wrong. treatment Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 The clown-fists denotes this is the TV version. The DYRL-version has different hands (see the old Yamato 1/48 Armor Parts) Quote
Gakken85 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 It's basically the last Yamato release, which didn't have the 1 and had a grey visor. Quote
Brand-X Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Also the DYRL version had yellow missiles. I'm getting this, but gonna try and customize it into a DYRL version, as I don't really collect TV valks personally. Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 (edited) It's basically the last Yamato release, which didn't have the 1 and had a grey visor. I have the Yamato release and it does the grey visor and the printed 1 on the chest. Was there a release of the set whithout the printed 1? Edited June 1, 2015 by Ignacio Ocamica Quote
