EXO Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 And other option parts... Wonderfest Exclusives only https://twitter.com/TREXTOYS Quote
charger69 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I need this in my life! How to get, where to get? Please help this Macross addict! Quote
EXO Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 Contact someone in Japan that will get it for you during WF! Quote
charger69 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) Fuuuuuuu! When is it to be exact? and where? I might have a friend over there but I have small chances... Edited June 30, 2014 by charger69 Quote
Kurisama Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Aaaaaaaawwww crap son. But damn it, WF exclusive??!?! Damn it. Quote
charger69 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Thank you EXO! I'm trying to find a good bro over there. Quote
EXO Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 Damn the exclusivity?! It aint gonna be cheap... remember these are the guys that designed he toy itself. And if you guys have ever bought any kits from them from Wonderfest, the resin quality is solid. I have their Beagle saddle bags, VF-1 option parts and the Zentradi soldier. Quote
Mommar Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I think they've done the shoulder armor wrong. I'm willing to bet the additional missile canisters are on that raised bar just like the VF-25 clavicle missile canisters are. Considering there isn't a snowballs chance in hell I can buy these I'll just go the extremely critical route to feel better about myself. Quote
CoreyD Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) Urgh, so awesome, yet so unavailable. Wahhhh I really like the way they have the boosters oriented on the wings (in battroid mode) [edit] Edited June 30, 2014 by CoreyD Quote
Xigfrid Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I think they've done the shoulder armor wrong. I'm willing to bet the additional missile canisters are on that raised bar just like the VF-25 clavicle missile canisters are. I was also thinking about the bar, the shoulders doesn't seem Frontier's without it! Quote
Shukenzero Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Any chance members are going? Would love a set Quote
chyll2 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 wow. it looks good. I dont expect it to be ever cheap though. btw, no gerwalk pose? Quote
Mommar Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 wow. it looks good. I dont expect it to be ever cheap though. btw, no gerwalk pose? As with the 25's with those giant boosters on it would be even more impossible for the arms on the YF-19 to be out in Gerwalk with those boosters in the way. Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Thank God I don't like these packs on the YF-19. Quote
Mommar Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I was also thinking about the bar, the shoulders doesn't seem Frontier's without it! Given that it was only ever seen in fighter we don't really know, but since the missile pods ape the clavicle pods on the 25 it would only make sense they were attached/function in a similar manner (plus they would be easier to manipulate on the toy in general if that bar were there.) The Old Man Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 That looks amazing. Why the two different colours? Quote
Mommar Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) WF Exclusive? Arcadia... Y U DO DIS?! I'm going to assume it's because Bandai owns the license to Frontier still. Do you think any other company is going to be allowed to make 1/60 Fast Packs from one of the movies? Speaking of "1/60" packs, comparing these to the size of the Bandai Super Packs would be interesting to see. That looks amazing. Why the two different colours? One to match the existing Fast Packs, the other to match the shade of the packs from the movie? Edited June 30, 2014 by Mommar Quote
Guest davidwhangchoi Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) wow! that's cool, i wonder why there are two colors opps next question: i wonder if it will cost the same amount as the yf-19 Edited June 30, 2014 by davidwhangchoi Quote
Scyla Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Maybe Bandai lets the DX Chogokin license for the Frontier Valkyries go after the milked it try and the new show comes out. Good to know that CAD-data exists for these so whoever picks the license up will be able to produce a product quite fast. *cough Arcadia cough* Wishful thinking. Quote
Mommar Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I think it's interesting how the wings are pushed back and up on that Battroid. Quote
CF18 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 WF Exclusive? Arcadia... Y U DO DIS?! Probably license cost. Those WF one day licence are a lot cheaper than a retail release license. Quote
EXO Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 It's not Arcadia doing this. It's TREX toys. The design team. Quote
Mommar Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Does it matter whether it's Arcadia or TREX doing it though? Quote
charger69 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) Does it matter whether it's Arcadia or TREX doing it though? License issues I guess... Edited June 30, 2014 by charger69 Quote
EXO Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 Does it matter whether it's Arcadia or TREX doing it though? Only in accuracy. Quote
SaitouSad Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Really bummed that this is a WF exclusive.. but I guess it's for the better. I wouldn't dare handle a GK. Quote
Duymon Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 ARGH This little set is going to double the price of my Arcadia 19 Quote
daBlah! Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Very nice additions to the YF-19! Fair play to the team behind it, looks like a clean design Quote
