How many hardpoints are there on the VF-1?

Ok, I am borrowing this picture from another thread where they are talking about the VEFR. I noticed something though. All the Valks have 3 hardpoints per wing (6 total for the valk). Now the toys Yamato have been giving us on the 1/60 and 1/48 scales give us 4 total hardpoints. I mean I find this weird. Sure more hard points give the valks more firepower but what gives here? Is this a TV error? Or Yamato is in error? I dont remember about the DRYL on the how many hardpoints the valk had.

I think they're supposed to have 4.

Also, if you're using the the valk in the forground, I believe it's using two missles attached to a single hardpoint.

got a dumb question here....kinda off-topic....I 'm putting stickers on my 1/48 FPs , just wonder if the color of the circled area matches the color of the valk. ie: Yellow for Roy, Blue for Max...etc

not to turn this thread into a discussion about Minmei's chest, but those are her gloves, but you can kinda see the sides, a bit.

OT:the "third" hardpoint is probably an extension, just like the FP Yammies have them, with two missles on one HP.

In addition, reaction missles are held per wing with two sharing one hardpoint, and the 3rd independant.
