Yes, you read right.

On April 13th there will be a Parade/Event in Kichijoji & Inokashira Park.

Parade(Cosplay incl.) starts at 12:30 till 14:00.

On the northside(rotunda) will be a 8m Meter 1/1 Replica of a Patlabor, I think it will be the prop from the upcoming life-action movie.

Yes, the production prop that was at Anime Japan the weekend before last (since principal shooting is complete)

Its very impressive up-close, especially when they raise it!

Was there this morning early and saw the truck with the labor still under cover.

Would have liked to get an uncovered Shot but I am not fond of crowds.

Kichijoji is overcrowded enough on a standard weekend add in the TAF(Tokyo Anime Festival) and it gets worse.

Best spot to get a good shot would be from the Chuo Platform, same spot as seen in 'Oceans Whispers'.

Is it going to be actually raised so it is standing? If so I might go to see it, as I can cycle over there, but yeah, those crowds are going to be a pain and I'm pretty busy today.
