I would try to hunt down the 1/72 injection kit of the full armored battroid.

Can't recall right now if it was Bandai or Hasegawa that did it.

See them often at local shops.

Man that's a good price, I got mine off Yahoo Japan and paid about 40% more. I've sat on it for a couple of years now, I like the smaller scales better. Do you have anything you'd like to trade for it?

I remember that kit, it was made to order by neosteel or something, very cool looking but I didn't like it much cause it took some liberties and made it more gundamish.

The other kit is a recast from a group called SMS that pop up last year, don't know if they're the same original group or someone who got the molds, but their kit is exhausted too.

If you want to keep the scale, you could try one of Bandai's oldies, they're a bit chubby but more anime faithful and still look wicked good when done right.

That was the kit I was thinking off, Arii now owned by Bandai.

Hasegawa did the VF-OS.

Those old Arii kits build up nice.

I agree about the liberties, which is why I eventually ended up with the yellow submarine 1/100 kit. Still, it's a well done, very detailed kit.

Brought mine on Ebay dozen of years ago, by some miracle no one had placed a bid and I won with the starting price, 50 bucks !

To my knowledge it has never been reissued, so any other company that you get one from is selling a recast. You might try contacting the guys at Neograde they are a pretty nice bunch of guys. I visited them when I lived in Seoul.
