Major Tom
If anyone has detailed scans of Bioroids and Hovertanks from Model Kits send them over. If not I gotta watch a lot of Southern Cross... This is what I've found so far: http://seesaawiki.jp/harmony-gold_japan/d/%A5%B9%A5%D1%A5%EB%A5%BF%A5%B9 http://seesaawiki.jp/harmony-gold_japan/d/%a5%d0%a5%a4%a5%aa%a5%ed%a5%a4%a5%c9 http://www.hkml.net/Discuz/viewthread.php?tid=155076 http://www.hkml.net/Discuz/viewthread.php?tid=136039&extra=&page=
Major Focker
hope the 1/72 hovertanks will be available in 3 modes. actually, i don't care much for battroid, but i'll get it anyway. i'm certainly in for a transforming 1/48. probably a pair. captain america
If anyone has access to Palladium's Southern Cross RPG, there's a wealth of info on mecha, and better yet is This Is Animation #10: the latter contains pics of the unreleased Imai Spartas prototype, and probably a couple of others that escape my memory. CoryHolmes
One thing I really like about the Robotech version is how they didn't downplay or chickify Dana Sterling. Yeah, she's a bit of a brat and annoying, but she's also tough as nails on the battlefield and never the damsel in distress. Quite progressive for an early 80s cartoon. Is that mock-up for a 1/350 version or a 1/48 scale?
EXO
Hey Cory... I'm detailing it for 1/48 but I won't be able to engineer the transformation until later this year. At least it'll be ready for 1/72 and 1/350 soon.
Guest davidwhangchoi
i prefer transformation over parts former. but that's just my opinion.
sbantonelli
I vote for the more accurate one.
varitechs
In all case, i better like at 1/48.Once again it's important for matching with our collection.
EXO
What scares me is that 1/32 boiroids will be expensive to make also. I at least have to have one red one in the same scale. I'll really push for 1/48. BTW, I'm starting a mailing list. Too many people asking to keep up with in PMs. PM me your email address and what scale or project you're interested in. Thanks! In all case, i better like at 1/48.Once again it's important for matching with our collection. I agree... I'll really try.

Ignacio Ocamica
I say 1/32!!
derex3592
1:32 would be epic, but 1:48 is probably more realistic pricing wise if we ever want bioroids as well.
Tober
1/48 for consistency. Or both.

CoryHolmes
I'm torn. Most of my existing RT stuff is in 1/48th. But 1/32 with a better transformation scheme...

derex3592
While transforming would be epic....I'd be ok with models of each mode...maybe that would be easier/more cost effective? Just a thought.
CoryHolmes
So just to make certain we're all on the same forum page: You'll be putting out a 1/350 scale VHT, followed by a 1/72 non-transforming version , followed by a 1/48 OR 1/32 transforming version? I... uh... I'll be in my bunk...
Guest davidwhangchoi
whatever scale, i'm in... i was watching the show and looking at the feet, it looks so complex... i don't know how you got that down.

MILKAUTICO
Come on guys, who votes, EXO do well in scale 1/60?
mechaninac
1/60 would likely suffer from the same limitations as 1/72: single mode model(s), or parts-former at best; even 1/48 is pushing things a bit for a full, no parts swapping, 3-mode transformation kit given the small size of the HT. That being said, 1/60 would still be nice, if for no other reason than to be in scale with the majority of Yamato/Arcadia and Bandai YF-VF and Destroid toys, and the old Takatoku 1/60 Orguss stuff. For a larger scale, I'm somewhat against 1/32 and would prefer 1/35 as that is an established armor scale that also happens to have plenty of other Anime hardware represented too. Just a thought. i think it would be epic but i'll just support what everyone wants... i think if it's 1/48 and complete transformation similar to the compromise yamato made for the vf-1, i'll be extremely happy!!! but whatever happens it's exciting. for some reason i'm looking forward to this hovertank more than the bandai pre-order nonsense going on.
