CoryHolmes Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Did you use "official" stats for your scale, or just eye-ball them until they look right beside each other? Quote
Firesped Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I'd have to say it is eyeballed at this point. When I made the Legioss the offical size, it was too big next to the tread. so I decreased the size of the Legioss by 10%. the tread is at the proper size it should be. which is why I didn't increase it. Felindar Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) I was wondering if there is any word on these projects. I am the proud owner of the garfish, Bioroid lander, bugeye, and Zentradi lander. I was really hoping for a clam ship and some horizonts. If the project has stalled due to a lack of demand I can see if I can get people together. I know every time I post pictures I get drooling and slathering responses all over other forums. DarkArchon3000 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I'm still interested in these especially Zentradi lander and Inbit clam ship. Which ones have been produced? Quote
CoryHolmes Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Garfishes and Hovertanks. That is all Quote
derex3592 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I'm still interested in these especially Zentradi lander and Inbit clam ship. Which ones have been produced? Good questions, I checked Shapeways today but didn't find much under Robotech, Mospeada, or Southern Cross. Quote
Felindar Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 The garfish has been around for years. Both landers have been produced. I know because I have it up. So has the bugeye. I know tundra yet he has some of the Bioroid landers available. I am still trying to find out what's going on with the horizont and the clamshell. Quote
neptunesurvey Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Sending the HT back to the caster next week after replacing damaged parts. The clamship is a little more problematic. Quote
MechTech Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 The Monster should be about two months IF all goes well! I'll be contacting those interested in the original thread when ready. - MT Quote
awr29886 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Hi, Does anyone know if the garfish are still available anywhere? I saw the link in this thread, but it appears to be dead now. Thanks! http://starshipmodeler.biz/shop/index.cfm/product/1554_193/1350-garfish-high-speed-troop-transport.cfm Quote
varitechs Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Sold out since a long time.... and i never saw sold it on an other place except from Starship Modeler... Quote
neptunesurvey Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Here is a painted up horizon for you to see. I printed this out a Form2 and had to do a rush job on painting it for Wonderfest this weekend. My regular caster is busy with other projects so is not able to cast the horizon. I have a line on a new one so I hope to have some more news after Wonderfest. Enjoy the pictures. Quote
CoryHolmes Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 *happy sigh* About how big is your Horizon? As in, how long? Quote

Why not duplicate using the Form2 instead of casting? Is it just not cost-effective or not enough access to the Form2..? Nice looking results though. Quote
neptunesurvey Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 *happy sigh* About how big is your Horizon? As in, how long? Sorry for the delay, just returned from Wonderfest. It is 8 inches long and 9 inches wide. The Garfish is 13 inches long. Why not duplicate using the Form2 instead of casting? Is it just not cost-effective or not enough access to the Form2..? Nice looking results though. It takes 2 days to print all the parts for just one and then a few more days to prepare the parts, like trimming off the supports and sanding. It is just easier to make the master and get those parts casted. Quote
CoryHolmes Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Wow. From your pictures it looked to be the same size as the Robotech RPG Tactics minis. I guess it makes sense it'd be so large if it were in the same scale. Sign me up for when you make these suckers available Quote
EXO Posted June 8, 2016 Author Posted June 8, 2016 Also, remember that recasted pieces are pre-sanded and the resin is a lot cheaper than the 3D printing resin. So you got a lot that's a lot smoother and costs less. Assuming that there's enough people investing in the kit. Quote

neptunesurvey Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Clamship is still causing me headaches and finding a new reliable caster. I am working on getting my horizont master back from the caster. I have also finished the decal sheet for the ht. Quote
neptunesurvey Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Here is the next 1/350 scale vessel and the last one in this scale for awhile. Can you guess what it is? Quote
edstuff Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Make invids. Ed not care scale. Ed want invids. Pwease? Quote
CoryHolmes Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Invids and horizonts and hovertanks, for one giant fight scene! I'm disappointed by the RPG Tactics line thus far, so this will have to satiate my needs for Robotech generations battles! Oh, and some bioroids, too. Quote
neptunesurvey Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Here is the main gun for the unit. If you got the 1/350 bioroid assault ship from a few years ago you would have some hover tanks and bioroids. Quote
