EXO Posted October 25, 2014 Author Posted October 25, 2014 I'm not sure if you need Acrobat Reader or Acrobat pro to see this. I think reader is good enough though... Quote
mechaninac Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Ooh! Love 3Dpdf, I use it at work all the time. Rest assured that anyone with the free Acrobat Reader installed will be able to pan, rotate, zoom, spin, and if available from the parent file, hide or show individual components from an assembly and scroll through default and user defined views. Quick tip for anyone trying to view a 3Dpdf: before doing anything, right-click anywhere on the viewing area and select Part Options --> Fit Visible from the pop-up window; doing so will prevent the model from ever "flying" off the screen when you spin it. sbantonelli Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Spectacular! I can't wait to get my mitts on one of these kits. Quote
Major Focker Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 dang that's cool. i didn't know pdf could handle 3D Quote
Felindar Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) I am soo poor but count me in on the Horizont as well. In one of those special coincidences Papermate pens can not only be used for extending the legs on the Bug eye scout but as the extensions for the legs on the landing pod. I should have pictures by Fri at the latest. Edited October 28, 2014 by Felindar Quote
MechTech Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 That's awesome and on my Christmas wish list now. Are there gonna be baby cyclones to match it?-MT Quote
EXO Posted October 30, 2014 Author Posted October 30, 2014 Baby cyclones would be so tiny... how about baby 1/350 Legioss? Quote
Major Focker Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 (edited) sold! edit: actually, might be good to make those legioss also available as a separate set for those who want additional escorts for the garfish Edited October 30, 2014 by Major Focker Quote
EXO Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 The garfish was already modeled by captain america... here's the link. I think Neptune said there's going to be a restock http://starshipmodeler.biz/shop/index.cfm/product/1554/1350-garfish-high-speed-troop-transport.html Yes, the legioss and treads will be available separately. No details on the Tread yet... funny, I have to look at the reference for the Treads because I never drew it as a kid but I finished the Legioss quick because I can draw it from memory. I just used the line art as reference for scale. Quote
neptunesurvey Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 sold! edit: actually, might be good to make those legioss also available as a separate set for those who want additional escorts for the garfish The reason I never offered the legioss and tread as a separate set is that I did not have enough interest. If interested in the Garfish contact Starshipmodeler and let them know. Quote
Major Focker Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 i already have a couple of the garfish. tried to use oyumaru to replicate the legioss, but found the results unsatisfactory. now i'm wondering if i should also get the clam and the dropship. is it too late to get in? Quote
neptunesurvey Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 The Clamship is available. PM Yeti. The dropship will be available next year. Quote
CoryHolmes Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Looking at that smexy beast of a craft reminds me why I spent some very long night shifts dreaming up a Robotech / Firefly fusion, where the mecha-driving anti heroes flew around in beaten up Horizont... *happy sigh*. Quote
tundrayeti Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) Let me update. The clamship is in the final stages of prototyping. I'll post some pics this weekend but I am starting pre-orders. The I still have some bioroid assault ships available. Starting another run of drop pods. Hoping to have the clamship done by Christmas, late January at the latest. No money will be taken until the kits are finished so order now! Thanks Edited October 31, 2014 by tundrayeti Quote
tundrayeti Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) I think Neptune got the 2 mixed up. The zentran dropship is the one that's was available making more. These big ships are pretty involved. Edited October 31, 2014 by tundrayeti Quote
