close313 Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 100% sure it'll be at NY once it releases. Just keep a lookout Quote
The Old Man Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Just had a payment request, ready to ship apparently Quote
Loop Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I ordered the Alto and Michael sets together, so I look forward to seeing all of your pics. Quote
ULessa Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Urgh, knowing that I can get my hands on the G parts makes me want to get the VF-25G itself. So expensive though. I want that sniper for fighter mode! Quote
The Old Man Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Yep. I find myself in the same position as I was with the 25S. Do I bite the bullet now or wait and hope for a reissue. Problem being that if there is no reissue, the ones out there are only going to get more expensive Quote
ChaoticYeti Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Just got a "preparation in progress" email from NY. Quote
Saburo Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 (edited) Just got my order prep email for the VF-25F Tornado parts from NY. Can't wait, the parts will be soon in my hands. Edited July 21, 2014 by Saburo Quote
VF-Zer0S Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Just got it as well. Not my favorite pack for the 25 but I hope thy changes when they arrive Quote
Mommar Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 When are the G parts scheduled to be shipped? End of next month? Quote

close313 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Me four! Doing my happy dance right now. -b. Im just happy im not in that second batch again that happened to my 25A supers and YF-25. Though it will be a long time before I get them, using SAL as usual. Quote

Though it will be a long time before I get them, using SAL as usual. Then you sir are much more patient than I. I swore off SAL a few orders ago, just takes too long and I'm way to impatient to get my hands on the loot. That said, glad that yours will at least ship immediately. -b. Quote

KH355hamdi Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I got email as well. Preparation in progress. Shipped by FedEx. Quote
Dimis Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Cute! http://suprememecha.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/review-dx-chogokin-vf-25f-tornado-parts.html Quote
VF-Zer0S Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Glad they included those extra parts. Was beginning to wonder how it was going to handle all that weight Quote
chyll2 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 hopefully, those are given for those older VF-25F that become loose and the optional parts will be optional to the newer/stiff joints. Quote
typhoon Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Damn, really wish I had ordered the 25F & 25G tornado parts separately. I need to wait until the 25G parts arrive before NY will ship them out...... Quote
KH355hamdi Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I wonder how those leg armours are attached. If they were to support the weight of the back, they better be secured well. I am hoping for this kind of bracket for the Armored Parts in Battroid mode. Quote
Duymon Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 omg is that the old crappy gerwalk brace from the v1 armored pack i see there? Guess my tornado valks are gonna stay in fighter....... Quote
Deadeye_281 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Yep, got my shipping notice for my 25F Tornado parts too. Good times, good times. Quote
Mommar Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 So part of this is Kawamori's fault for completely ignoring physics when it comes to all of these weird add-ons, but really, Bandai, you already made a V1 25 with these same parts. Between now and then you couldn't come up with a better solution? It's not like these parts are new and were sprung on you after designing the V2 25. Quote
valhary Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 really you are kidding me again the advanced engineering solution is add supporting parts very disappointing but for the good side looks very cool especially in fighter mode Quote
chyll2 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Cute! http://suprememecha.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/review-dx-chogokin-vf-25f-tornado-parts.html looks like there is not enough ground clearance.the lower fins on the VTOL is touching the ground Quote
ULessa Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Never actually paid attention to the actual images... That pack is HUGE Quote
Mommar Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I'm a bit concerned putting these on now. If they're that heavy they're likely to stress/break the wing joints. Quote
close313 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I'm a bit concerned putting these on now. If they're that heavy they're likely to stress/break the wing joints. Me too, especially in battroid mode. Nothing is supporting it when folded back, placing all the stress on that single joint Quote
Saburo Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 The pack looks great! I was wondering about how the figure would be able to support all the weight of the Tornado pack in Gerwalk mode and I figured there would be some kind of brace included. Not optimal, but at least it will take the stress of the joint and keep it from breaking. Quote
Mommar Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 That whole wing prop up black thing for Gerwalk mode makes no sense either. I mean, yeah, it needs support. Like I said before, Kawamori didn't take physics into account at all. But why the giant, crazy black contraption? A small, thin, metal rod painted white that fits between the two boosters connected to the wing roots, spaced ever so slightly wider then the actual wing joints would mean the entirety of the weight would be supported by the very strong metal rod and would eliminate all of that other stupid. Plus Gerwalk would still be poseable then. Quote
no3Ljm Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Looks cool and detailed. Though I didn't PO this one, since I just want the cannon from the Tornado pack. And use it to my Super Packs. Quote
