Even if IS a huge printing error, there's no way this thing is going for anything under 15,000. I was actually anticipating this thing to hit 20,000.

But 37,000?!

so 7.2" tall from a company that is pretty new to transforming mecha and they want $350 bucks for it? as much as i love that design ( i built the robotech transforming model kit revel released back in the day!) there is no way in hell i'm paying that mjuch for it. $200 TOPS and that is a stretch for a small figure like that.

Hey its still getting its first ever dvd release in the USA soon.

Umm, second DVD release. While it wasn't that wide-spread, there was the ImaginAsian release from several weeks back.

Yeah I knew about that, so brain fart on my part. Still this release should be much wider and much better in terms of quality than that burn on demand release was. :)

I was really excited by this until I saw the price tag. Unless this ends up in the clearance bin for half-off I don't see myself picking it up...

3 Man 7800 Yen??? That's crazy. Here I am wishing for a long time for an ulitmate Orguss figure which is still not somehow anime-accurate based on the prototype and yet have a price tag that high? Yamato/Arcadia's plain VF-1 Valks is taller and transformable too and it just cost less than $200.

Wait, is this limited or made to order?

Price-point aside, it has been stated that this toy has been designed under supervision of Miyatake, so any inaccuracies to the anime or whatnot have probably been OK'd by him.

Didn't Kawamori 'supervise' the V1 DX VF-25 toy? I think that's all just a marketing ploy that involves sending the creator of the mechanical design a check for a photoshoot.

That may have been true for the v1 DX 25, but so where is the photoshoot with a grinning Miyatake holding up the Megahouse toy? Kawamori hardly ever did that (not never, though) for Yamato products, yet it is a fact that he told them to re-do some parts and sections and keep changing the colours.

The ogroid is looking mighty sweet. And am I reading the site correctly, is tag hobby listing the MSRP at 35000 yen?

Correct pre-tax (8%) price. Japanese local stores and magazines are legally required to list after-tax price.

The problem I've always had with The Orguss mech is that none of its alt modes are very compelling to me and as such, I can never get myself to start buying the toys.
