Kanedas Bike Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Scoop or custom? http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-219949-1-1.html If it's a release, and Google Translate is accurate there is a May 2014 release date. -b. Quote
Scream Man Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Not only that, is that a Reissue Ozma shown below it? Quote
Kanedas Bike Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 Not only that, is that a Reissue Ozma shown below it? Really hope so! -b. Quote
skullmilitia Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) Damn, can we get the YF-30 yet? Looks like it's 17000 yen/ 170$ ish. Edited January 22, 2014 by skullmilitia Quote
Guest davidwhangchoi Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) if it's truly the ozma release, that's 2/2... when the arcadia yf-19 was announced, isamu's 29 was shortly after. i felt that was bandai trying to steal some thunder. and now this... i guess that's just my imagination running away with me. regardless i hope the 25s is bound soon. just not april.... does that say 2012 on the bottom next to the super parts and 25s? Edited January 22, 2014 by davidwhangchoi Quote
skullmilitia Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 The dates on the 25S are for 1/2012 so I'm not sure that's a good sign. Quote
Newtype78 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Could that be a reference to the original release date of the Renewal VF-25S? Didn't it come out in January 2012? Quote
Guest davidwhangchoi Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Didn't it come out in January 2012? that's correct http://www.tamashii.jp/item/1644/ Quote
MacrossJunkie Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) I think the bottom two are just showing Ozma releases that lead up to his 29. I highly doubt they will be re-releasing the super parts again. Still, it doesn't mean they won't re-release the 25S at some point. It just doesn't seem like they are announcing a re-release of it on that page. Edited January 22, 2014 by MacrossJunkie Quote
Kanedas Bike Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 On one hand I'm very glad that Bandai has been consistently releasing new DX Valks from Macross Frontier, on the other I wish they'd revisit some older items like the 25S and G. And damn, I can already feel my yearly budget/plans blown...again. -b. Quote
Benson13 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I have hope but I need the official word. Quote
jenius Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I really hope that's an announcement. They have the Macross30 license so it'd make sense. Quote
close313 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Definite buy! The head wins it for me. Quote
mechaninac Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 "Berkut" 29 ... I'm in! As for the 25S... Make a damned re-pop announcement already, Bandai! Quote
Sandman Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Wow. For a valk that only appeared at the end of one movie who knew its mold would be milked so much. The yf-29 is on the ways of being the new vf-1. Quote
Valk-1S Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Anywaone know whether it will be a standard release or Tamashii exclusive. Here's hoping for Tamashii exclusive. Quote

The yf-29 is on the ways of being the new vf-1. Right! It sure seems that way. I'm actually hoping for a cannon-fodder release at this point. Anywaone know whether it will be a standard release or Tamashii exclusive. Here's hoping for Tamashii exclusive. Hopefully, the exclusives have certainly been a lot easier to secure then some of the early releases (although the 25A was pretty available and the RVF looks to be a bit of a shelf-warmer). -b. Quote
charger69 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) Mecha Deity heard me! BTW: YF-29 is the new VF-1 (in terms of color variants) Edited January 22, 2014 by charger69 Quote
Guest davidwhangchoi Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 haha it's more like bandai's cannon fodder against arcadia's announcements. Quote
Shukenzero Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Looks a bit dark though...let's hope the shape and details can still shine through and that it'll be a slight bit lighter. Still excited and happy that, as it's all dark grey, we won't get much in the way of sloppy paint apps, since it's such a simple scheme. Quote
TCracker Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Farking bought on sight. Make that 2. That Sexy headsculpt blows the other YF-29 variants away. Quote

Still excited and happy that, as it's all dark grey, we won't get much in the way of sloppy paint apps, since it's such a simple scheme. Ozma's -29 *is* dark. It is not the same color as his -25. Anways---still would prefer one of the alternate game colors on the *-30* mold, but this gives me hope that Bandai plans to do as many 30th Ann. game colors as they can. Quote
close313 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I can't help but get the 25th anniversary feeling whenever i look at the fighter. Quote
charger69 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Some screens from M30 I can't help but get the 25th anniversary feeling whenever i look at the fighter. No BrushScript is around, we are safe Quote
barurutor Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Looks sufficiently bad-ass for me to finally consider getting a YF-29. Quote
Shukenzero Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 What I meant was I thought it was a pang darker than the game, but perhaps it's the in game lighting. Quote
Kyp Durron Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Scoop or custom? http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-219949-1-1.html Bandai DX YF-29 Ozma Lee.jpg If it's a release, and Google Translate is accurate there is a May 2014 release date. -b. GOD. DAMN. IT. I swore I would never bother with this valk, because I just didn't like the color scheme, but I always said that if they released the Ozma version, it would be a must buy. This is going to make getting the v2 VF-19 very hard for me to pull off this year. -Kyp Quote
charger69 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) Is that the YF-29B? No, YF-29B is Perceval. YF-29 Ozma is still a Durandal! Perceval has a regular Alto/Roy Type head P.S.: Hey Bandai, I would like to have a Perceval as well Edited January 22, 2014 by charger69 Quote
Renato Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 At this point, I can actually see them doing the Perceval next. Anyway, I have loved this scheme for the 29 as soon as the "Macross Last Frontier" game came out (so this design actually predates Macross 30 by a year or so), and I'm glad to finally see it come to fruition. And May is just around the corner! This is an instant buy for me. I hope the Super Parts are announced soon, too. BACK ON THE BANDAIWAGON, BABY Quote
charger69 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) I didn't know that! ...(so this design actually predates Macross 30 by a year or so)... Edited January 22, 2014 by charger69 Quote
Renato Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Yeah, it appeared in the game (Last Frontier is on the Hybrid Pack BD with Sayonara no Tsubasa) as a variant, alonside the Klan VF-25S. Quote
