Kurt Posted December 28, 2003 Author Posted December 28, 2003 Looks great, I can't wait to see what it looks like reassembled. What type of masking tape did you use? I always use Tamiya masking tape. I have never had a problem with it pulling paint off or any bleed under it. Quote
Kurt Posted December 30, 2003 Author Posted December 30, 2003 Ok, another update. The wash to the panel lines and drybrushing are complete. As soon as the oil paint is dry enough I will apply a matt finish and can begin to re-assemble. It is getting close! Now I just need my fast packs to show up and I can really complete it. Quote

Kurt Posted January 3, 2004 Author Posted January 3, 2004 I am still waiting for the fast packs to be delivered. Once they are I will finish them to match. Thanks! Quote
Wicked Ace Posted January 10, 2004 Posted January 10, 2004 I just have to say that the work is awesome! I think seeing this custom might just convince me to lay down some $ for my own 1/48 Yamato. Quote

Here are some in progress images. Next step is a flat coat and some pastel weathering. They should be done in a couple of days. Quote
