danth Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 This is the best trailer I've ever seen in my life. And the soundtrack is sure to be awesome. Quote
TangledThorns Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) As someone that grew up watching bad 80s films I look forward to this. Seriously, the films I sat through in the theater I could not watch today. LOL Ugh, I'm old. Did anybody else here remember seeing this gem in the theater back in 1983 in 3D?! Agent ONE Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 No kidding, I emailed that to just about everyone. Quote
Agent ONE Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I ripped and trimmed the song out of the video... It is my new favorite song. PM me with your email address if you want me to email you the file. Any of you, even Keith. Quote

TangledThorns Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 30 minutes of video is considered a movie? Oh well, I'm sure it'll look cool when I watch it later tonight. Quote
renegadeleader1 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 OK that was mildly amusing although I get the feeling whoever made it only knows of the 80s by watching Nostalgia Critic and playing Farcry Blood Dragon. Quote
TangledThorns Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I watched it on my 65in plasma TV, looked good and it was ridiculous, lol. Quote
Hikuro Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 ............that was off the board cheesy as hell. So I wish the guys better luck on their "Clean slate" if they get to do a feature in hollywood. Quote
renegadeleader1 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 The best movie of '80s made in the 2010s^^ You mean Expendables? Quote
Hikuro Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Huh just realized after watching it again without someone being a critic over my shoulder that the blonde viking woman isn't the same one in the trailer during up close dialogue parts. But all far away shots are the gal from the trailer. Hm.....just me noticing things. Quote

TangledThorns Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) I know they are trying for a 80s cheese-flick but it seemed more 1990s. Reminded me of all the crappy Jean-Claude Van Damme and 'virtual reality' (Lawnmower Man & Johnny Mnemonic) films I wasted time in the theater in during that decade. Plus the dinosaurs are a nod to 1993's Jurassic Park too. Edited May 29, 2015 by TangledThorns Quote
Mr March Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I wouldn't call it good, but it certainly was silly. I understand what they were going for and the fun they clearly had making it. But like the direct to VHS films of the era that they are clearly parodying, this is not something of which I want to see more Quote
